Fresh Start
What time of year is best for you to have a fresh start or a new mindset ? Are you a first of the year person or do you think of the end of summer as a time for a fresh start?

I am definitely a fall girl. Summer is an easy going season for me, spontaneous events, extra time with family and easy a going schedule. After Labor Day feels like a new beginning to me and a time to get back to some (flexible) structure.
Have A Vision!?!?
First Place for Health active 3d ago You and First Place for Health know each other from First Place for Health First Place for Health broke the ice! Apr 24th 2026 First Place for Health 7:11am Hey Missy, welcome to First Place for Health! Whether you’re here for the Heart Reset, community, or a fresh start in your health journey—you’re in the right place. Whole health begins with Christ, and you don’t have to do it alone. Watch the video in the community to get started. Warmly, Mary Ward, CEO Missy S. 7:15am Hi Mary. Glad to be here! Apr 27th 2026 First Place for Health 12:52am May 25th 2026 Missy S. 10:02am Now get this. I came back from an hour's walk with my husband, sat in my quiet time space and immediately thought, "I need to put my vision board back up and create a new 'revelation' for myself. Because as I sat and saw the bare wall in front of me the scripture that flashed into my mind was "Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint, But blessed is the one who needs wisdom instruction". I couldn't recall the reference, but I know that verse well. So I set about digging out my corkboard from the garage, gathered my push-pins and hung it up. In all it took about 20 minutes, and the whole time I am questioning if doing this before my quiet time was right or not. Anyway, all sorted and feeling good about having that up and ready to add to it whatever God lays on my heart, I opened my bible and my Walk in Wisdom study, week 8 Day 3, Faith for the Finish. I read the opener and then hit question one, What does Proverbs 29:18 suggest we do for our wellness journey? And there it is 🤯🤯 the very verse God placed in my mind and what prompted me to get my vision board back up. Prov. 29:18 "Where there is no revelation the people cast off restraint, But blessed is the one who needs wisdom's instruction." 🤯🤯

I like how you said God is always working ahead of us. Our son Brian and I had this conversation this afternoon. We were talking about how we don't even know all the things that God has protected from. I am all about tuning in to the Holy Spirit, I pray I don’t miss His instruction due to my mind going 90 miles an hour.
