This was my first design in Vector Witch. I did some engravings with it, then I brought it into Ideogram and colored it.

I’m loving how the chenille patches are turning out. These are just test pieces for my sister and a small Mother’s Day gift , and with higher heat and a longer press they’re holding up really well. They’re also quicker for me since I don’t have to fuss with the film when peeling—just two presses, front and then inside‑out. If I bring these in, I’m thinking of adding them to Comfort Colors crewnecks. I’ve also ordered a batch from Alibaba, and now I just need to find nylon makeup‑bag mockups for my listings.

So I know this isn’t exactly a win, but honestly… sometimes you just gotta laugh at yourself. I ordered new glasses because my prescription changed by a quarter. A quarter. I’m nearsighted, and apparently that tiny little upgrade was the difference between “competent adult” and “why is everything crooked.” I was making Mother’s Day shirts for my friend, using my trusty shirt ruler like a professional, and still managed to mess up two of her crewnecks. Perfectly slanted. Boldly diagonal. Avant‑garde fashion no one asked for. Luckily she’s a good friend and doesn’t care because I always replace anything I mess up and will be sent out later tonight and arrive before mother days of course. After the second disaster, I just looked at my husband and said, “Yeah… I’m putting my store on vacation mode until these new glasses arrive.” Temporary retirement for public safety. And the funniest part? This isn’t even new behavior. In high school, my social teacher couldn’t mark me wrong because my map of Canadian cities was so consistently off by exactly an inch that it technically counted as correct. I passed because I was predictably wrong. Honestly, iconic.her response to me back then was Shelby, do you need new glasses lmao.

The three patches I was planning to start with are: a game‑day design that works for baseball, football, or general use; a graduation patch for “Senior 2026”; and a “mama”‑themed patch that isn’t tied specifically to Mother’s Day. I’m definitely on board with using Alibaba since it’s much cheaper while still offering the same—or better—quality. The photos are just to show an idea not finished product and might do make up bags with names just cause those are easy to do.. first order will be thru Etsy but being fully designed and customized thru custom order. Then hopefully going thru Alibaba for larger quantities.
