Reducing thyroid antibodies and vitamin D
Are there any proven ways besides selenium to reduce the thyroid antibodies? Between the last labs and these labs I know is my vitamin D has gone down even though the only thing I changed was the brand I use while the antibodies have gone up. Trying to figure out how to optimize the thyroid since this is a new issue. For testosterone, I’m taking enclomiphene every other day. I’m 46, height 6’4 and weight 212lbs Haven’t been working out like I use to because energy and sleep have been a struggle these past couple years with IBS/Sibo, sleep and hashimoto’s. Thinking the best thing I can do is to get the thyroid under control and all else will improve…?

@Ty Vincent I’m interested in doing this. The last test the thyroid antibodies we are 59, before than had them just in normal range at 34, then the test before that was 64. During this recent blood test the Vit D did drop to the 30s from the 60s. So should be back up with Vit d by this point after switching out companies. The TSH levels have always been normal and the T3/4 are in range but not optimal. Mainly the T3 which is the active kind. I do have some gut issues from IBS/sibo. I have taken the IBSsmart.com test and it is positive with elevated antibodies. Got it from food almost a couple decades ago. So I know that some of the t4 to t3 conversion happens in the gut. The liver seems to be okay with the conversion so my guess is the gut is slowing down the conversion. Since I’m producing enough T4. Let me know your thoughts and if it’s okay to PM you or you can pm me to go over any other questions and/or if this would work for my case? If so I would be interested in this therapy Thank you
Sleep issues / Insomnia
One of my biggest if not biggest challenge right now is recurring insomnia. I can sleep decent to great for a couple weeks then I get a bit of insomnia that tends to last for 2-3 nights. Not sure what this is all about or how to resolve this issue. I have done the general things mentioned online. Even prescription sleep meds don’t seem to get me to sleep in these kinds of nights and I just wake up from the roughly 2 random hours of sleep with more brain fog than if I wouldn’t have taken anything. It’s also led to a lot of brain fog I deal with almost daily. I know it lowers testosterone along with other factors in general health. Is there anything medically I can/should look for? Quick wins or tricks that are worth to try? Peptides for this? Have more questions to help clarify you answers about insomnia let me know… Thank you
Seeking Input From The Community
Questions thus far have primarily been related to BHRT, mainly TRT and thyroid. I have expertise in essentially all areas of health and medicine, and welcome questions regarding any topic in this area. Metabolic disorders, autoimmune diseases, current health trends and fads, medical myths, childhood diseases and disorders, whatever. I have a team together now to develop this site and coordinate other social media, so content should be coming more regularly soon. I would like to do live Q&A sessions periodically, maybe every other weekend or a good weekday when it's evening for most people. I would like feedback regarding what days/times work best for people and the time zone to which you are referring. I am in Hawaii, which shares a time zone with almost nowhere else (the Aleutian islands and maybe another random island in the Pacific here and there). We are currently six hours earlier than the east coast of the U.S. and about 12 hours behind Western Europe. My schedule tends to be very flexible, and I don't mind being up unusually late or early depending on what works for the most people.

Based in Los Angeles, so close to your time zone. Days/times flexible and guessing there’s going to be a way to send in questions ahead of time with a replay if we can’t make it live? Anything for insomnia and/or sleep optimization would be great to cover. Peptides for sleep you’d recommend (if it’s worth going that route)
Thyroid optimization on testosterone
Hey! Thyroids are a very important topic, and we know that testosterone lowers Thyroid hormones. I was wondering what your take is on this? A lot of specialized clinics already hand out thyroid meds together with testosterone (HRT vs TRT) when needed. In my particular case, I feel a bit sluggish and it looks like my free T4 is on the lower end, which could explain this, although in reference ranges, this is highly personal, just like testosterone ranges. I'm about to try T4/T3 meds, what's your take on this?

I’m also working on the testosterone/thyroid optimization. Will post some labs and mention what has helped and seemed to have hindered progress. Been a journey the past couple years getting it balanced.
