The Body Of Confidence
“Your body and your mind are in constant conversation. Today, let's change what they're saying.” Step 3: Utmost Confidence - The Body Of Confidence How posture, breath, and presence unlock inner strength Practice this for now. Settle into stillness now, and become aware of how you are sitting or standing. Are your shoulders soft? Is your spine gently tall? Are you breathing all the way down into your belly? The relationship between the body and confidence is profound and immediate. When we slump, we signal to our nervous system that we are small, guarded, unsafe. When we are open, we signal something entirely different. Take a breath now - deep, slow, deliberate. Let your chest expand. Roll your shoulders gently back. Lift your chin just slightly, not with arrogance, but with dignity. Notice how that feels. Notice the subtle shift in your inner landscape. This is not pretence - this is physiology. Your body chemistry actually changes when you adopt a posture of openness and ease. Confident people are not necessarily free of nerves. They simply breathe through them. They ground themselves. They know that the feeling will pass, and they carry on anyway. Practice this: before any moment that feels daunting, take three slow breaths, soften your jaw, and remind your body - and your mind - that you are safe, capable, and present. Your new daily practice: take three deep breaths, shoulders back, and say to yourself quietly - 'I am here.' Do this every morning. Watch what changes.

MAN FLU – The Scourge Of Society!!
What is Man Flu? – Is it real, what are the symptoms? The poor male of the species starts to get a little bit of flak for their throat tickles and sniffles at this time of the year. Yes, it's the season where the dreaded ‘man flu’ rears its ugly head. We see the stereotypical view that poorly men all over the UK, and elsewhere, are teased for staying up in bed, while poorly women carry on with their day-to-day lives. But, is the male species justified in taking time out to help their bodies recover from winter bugs – is ‘man flu’ actually real? Is man flu real? The answer is, surprisingly, yes! Scientists have discovered that men have weaker immune systems than women. This leaves them more susceptible to harsher bouts of flu and viruses! The winter season brings the usual coughs, colds and for some, the more serious flu. Many of us will battle through and sit, sniffling at our desks, while others will admit defeat and retire to bed to try and nurse themselves through the worst of their illness. Some of us are considered more infamous for taking to their beds than others, namely men, suffering from ‘man flu’. Man flu is the illness that apparently turns tickly coughs into chronic chest infections and minor headaches into full-blown migraines. For all the teasing though, it looks like the men of Britain, and elsewhere, may have something to moan about after all – man flu is real! From my own viewpoint, I have been suffering from constant Banging headaches, tiredness, aches and pains and snotty nose over these past few days! Here’s the science bit! Man flu scientific study A study, conducted by scientists at America’s Harvard University, revealed a surprising revelation about the role of oestrogen in immune protection, this hormone actually helps to strengthen our immune systems. Men, of course, don’t possess the level of oestrogen that women do, which is where they fall down when it comes to their ability to fight cold and flu viruses. The lack of oestrogen actually makes men’s immune systems weaker, which in turn means they not only contract viruses more easily than the fairer sex but feel the effects more seriously!

@Derek Fraser Crosson Like I hinted...I am not gonna comment on this. Not a man, therefore, not qualified (based on experience)!
