Has Skool Changed?
I joined Skool just over a year ago and I was really excited... amost addicted. Most of my free time was spent on Skool. But since Growth Boost has started I'm noticing there's been a shift that makes me sad. Some new Skool features (like Reviews) are only for paid communities. Communities that I had been active in and actively supporting since Day 1 that had been free (or free for me), now only have paid-options. The first community to do this happened even before Growth Boost actually, but Growth Boost has accelerated it. And the first of the founders who kicked me out have now started DM-ing me asking me to join their paid communities. I assume the others will follow at some point. It seems more and more of the focus of Skool is on making money, and those who are making money now. >>There is no recognition of the value of free communities, or of free members within communities. There's no patience to let members decide when they are ready to take their next step.<< When I joined Skool were proudly talking about how a lot of their significant growth came after they shut down the hustle bro marketers. Now they seem to be promoting them again. Is it just me? What do you think about the recent changes?

I do not think I would ever re-join a community because a founder kicked me out. Says a whole lot about them that I do not agree with!!! I think people are guessing and jumping through (unknown) hoops due to Growth Boost, yes. I also think it happens on all platforms. Is Skool changing? Of course it is. Everything changes. I just think we need to be growing OUR communities (business) and doing what is right for us and our people...not to try and game ANY platform...my two plus cents!

@Shaz Jones You definitely are not a lone voice!!!
The power of DMs
All this week the Prime Minister of Australia has been dogged by a podcast he did with a comedian. Today someone asked how the relatively-unknown comedian even got to do a podcast with the PM at his official residence. And we found out she just sent him a DM on social media and asked. What would you ask your ideal client? And by that I mean when will you send them a DM and just make an offer?

Just saw my first Skool ad for Onliners since we became a paid community. Have you seen it on Insta or Facebook? Hopefully the Growth Boost is on its way...

Awesome @Shaz Jones !!!
Aaaaand We're A Paid Community
You're all going to stay free forever (unless you upgrade later on). But all new member applications from today will have a 7 day free trial and then pay $7/monthly. Hopefully, this will improve your experience inside the community, and also improve the Growth Boost results that drive the advertising of communities on Meta. If you've got any concerns, comments or questions, drop them below.
