How to silence the background noise in life
With everything going on in the world and in Australia with politics and taxes etc, one thing I can tell you is silence those things around you that distract you from what you should be focussing on. Yes be aware of what's going on don't entertain or put all your energy on those things that have nothing to do with your goal or dream. If your dream or goal is bigger, than that silences the background novice - focus 100% on these things. Either if it's getting healthy, increase and building income and wealth, more time with loved ones, find opportunities to have these happen and put your energy on these things.

💪 Growth Doesn’t Always Look Like Progress
Recovery has a funny way of changing your perspective. A few weeks ago I was focused on moving faster. Now I’m focused on healing better. I’m still in a brace, and there are plenty of things I can’t do yet. But instead of seeing it as lost time, I’ve been trying to see it as time that’s been given back to me. More time to learn. More time to research. More time to work on building my business. More time to be present with my daughter. Sometimes growth isn’t about doing more. Sometimes it’s about slowing down long enough to build a stronger foundation. Whatever season you’re in right now, don’t underestimate what you can build behind the scenes. Keep learning. Keep growing. Keep showing up. The results will come. What’s something positive you’ve been working on lately, even if no one else can see it? 👇

Awesome legend. Just because you have one limb not 100% or recovering there are plenty of other things you can do as you have mentioned. I spoke to a guy recently at the gym, (12months out of jail, off alcohol and drugs for the past 6 month) and he has arthritis in his knee. I told him do other workouts that doesn't cause pain. He also train Muay Thai and I said you still have 7 out the 8 striking moves you can he and that may him think. Just because there is one thing in your life that is injury or out on hold for a bit, there Re other things you can do, just like you mentioned. It's about mindset and finding opportunities 💪🏾👍🏾
💭 What’s One Piece of Advice You Wish You Heard at 20?
Imagine you could go back and have a five-minute conversation with your 20-year-old self. You only get to give one piece of advice. What would it be? Mine would be: Stop chasing quick wins and start focusing on consistency. Small habits, smart financial decisions, investing in yourself, and showing up every day will take you further than trying to get rich or successful overnight. Oh and BE grateful ❤️‍🔥 Now it’s your turn. What’s the one lesson you’d pass on to your younger self? Let’s build a thread full of wisdom that someone else might need to hear today. 👇

Great post legend! Mine would be: - don't be scared at failing, embrace it and learn from it. - Don't be embraced of trying. Most people that may criticise you don't even try. - Invest in something you enjoy either, health, making money, family/friends etc - Enjoy life more. Plan to live forever yet as if today could be your last. - Continue to learn
🔥 What’s ONE Skill That Changed Your Life Forever
🚀 What skill has had the biggest impact on your life? Not the most expensive course. Not the biggest investment. Not the fanciest qualification. Just one skill that genuinely changed your life. For me, I’ve learned that investing in yourself often pays better than investing in anything else. It could be: ✅ Communication ✅ Sales ✅ Fitness & discipline ✅ Investing ✅ Time management ✅ Leadership ✅ Learning how to learn If you could go back and tell your younger self to master ONE skill earlier, what would it be and why? Let’s help each other grow. 👇

Mine are: - Learning to silence the whiney excuses in my head so I had to see my goals bigger than my excuses. This also equals discipline. - learning to respond and not react. When you react to a situation, I believe that when you react you give your power over to the situation and you lose control. Responding controls where you want to go and the outcome - Learning self belief and self worth. This is why I love powerlifting, to push my self belief into doing something heavier and harder than I thought I can - physically and mentally. From this everything else in the world, doesn't become lighter, but I just become stronger in my self belief and worth. - Embrace failure as lessons and stepping stones. Don't run away from failing but towards it!
When does personal growth happen?
Don't be surprised that personal growth doesn't happen at the end of what you want to achieve. Growth starts to germinate at the first step into the unknown of what you want to achieve. Growth starts to blossom in the valley after many steps have been taken. The obstacles, the disappointments, the small wins. All these forge you into the person that continues to go forward through the valley towards that end goal. Sometimes dreaming big is the only way. Our interpretation of what a big goal is, varies. As our paths are different yet end distintation is same - become better version of yourselves before we started personal growth journey. Last Saturday I did participated in a charity deadlift fund raising event for The Black Dog Institute. 2 weeks out I hurt my back and my coach told me not to do certain lifts which I did. No deadlifts or squats. Before the event I told my coach I wanted to go for 185kg which will be my new PB. The morning of the event, messaged my coach to say if my body feels ok I might go heavier. I managed to get 187.5kg deadlift. Now my next goal is in November 2026 to get that 200kg that I failed at last November 2025. 187.5kg was just in this valley I'm going through. Moral of this post, don't let obstacles and failures stop you on achieving what you want in life. Learn to pivot and adjust. Moving forward even if it is messy action, wrong investing chooses (me), bad lifts, poor planning etc. These create and forge you become better. Hope this inspires you all to continue to move forward for what you want to achieve in life!! Video of my 170kg, 180kg and 187.5kg lifts.
