Make "here" the best thing that happens to your dog. Every. Single. Time. Big reaction. Crouch down. Treat. Whatever gets them excited, make it a party, every time they come to you. I know that feels like a lot. But you are literally building a reflex right now. When they hear "here" you want their feet moving before their brain even processes it. That only happens if coming to you is always, always worth it. The day you stop making it exciting is the day the recall starts to slip. Don't let it slip.
