Anyone here a brain surgeon for kids?
Asking for a friend: Looking for some help. My son was just diagnosed with a host of neurological disorders (OCD, ADD, depression, anxiety, learning disorders, etc.) after a brain mapping session from a company in Scottsdale called the Nerofeedback Institute. The technology comes out of MIT and Harvard (just to say, it's not a fly by night operation). They claim to be able to treat him using a variety of alternative therapies. However, before I let "doctors" poke at my son’s brain, I'd like the opportunity to get some second, third, and fourth opinions. Does anyone have connections to neurologists or neuroscientists they know and trust? I'd be grateful for an introduction if so!

Hi Ryan — neurologist here. First, I want to reassure you: you don’t need to panic or jump straight to anything invasive. You do not need a neurosurgeon for what you described. What your son truly needs is a strong pediatric neurologist or developmental/behavioral specialist who regularly works with OCD, ADHD, anxiety, and learning disorders in kids. They’re the right people to help clarify what’s real, what’s noise, and what the best evidence-based path forward is. I’m an adult neurologist, but I’m happy to connect you with trusted pediatric neuro experts I know — they’re based on the East Coast (NY), but they’re excellent and at least can help guide next steps. If you want an intro, just let me know. You’re doing the right thing by seeking real expertise before moving forward

Entity Setup
@Ryan Bakke, CPA - In one of your entity setup videos, you mentioned that if someone has a few rental properties and a minimum net worth, they should consider setting up a revocable trust with a holding LLC underneath it, and then place the individual property LLCs under that structure. Can you explain why the holding LLC is necessary? Why not just have the individual property LLCs directly under the trust?

Credit cards - Personal vs Business
@Ryan Bakke, CPA Can you use a personal card exclusively for business purposes or do you recommend opening a business credit card?

If you have multiple properties - do you keep different credit cards for each property so keep bookkeeping for each LLC separate or can combine all on one credit card?
