New month in Chambers, new theme. This one's called The People You Can't Fire. Watch the two-minute video below first. Then the question. Great points, Lisa. The way I handled the situation as their commander, I told them that it is okay to not be okay. I told them that I had their backs and they could count on me for full support. I had one person who was in such a bad way. She checked herself in for in-patient care. When I attended her "graduation" at Ft Belvoir the staff there thanked me and told me that I was the first commander to ever attend a graduation. So very sad to think that there are so many so called leaders out there who talk the talk but in reality, they don't give a crap about the people around them.
