Full Surrender
I have always found it fascinating that once Moses and the Israelites were out of Egypt, after they had been traveling awhile…after they had witnessed the many miracles that God provided to deliver them out of (including slavery)…some reached a point of wanting to turn around and go BACK to Egypt! (good luck crossing the sea) But that always baffled me! After seeing all the good things God did for them, and all He had provided. But sometimes, the flesh in us craves familiarity, even if it’s not good for us. And it dawned on me, I have been just as guilty as they were in the past! Even though it’s accepting less than we were called for, even though it could make us a slave to something or someone! This is why we have to fully surrender to God✅ That way we don’t have Egypt in the depths of our heart. That way when we don’t know our exact direction or understand the way life is heading…we don’t want Egypt (familiarity) to creep in and win our hearts. Lord help us fully surrender to You🙏🙌🏻 We know You can handle any and all things that come our way!

This spoke to me so deeply. It’s so true how the heart can crave what’s familiar, even when God has already delivered us from it. I’m learning to surrender fully too — not just my steps, but the hidden places in my heart that still reach for “Egypt.” Thank you for this reminder to trust God even when the path feels unclear. 🤍🙏🏽
Fun Activity!
Helloo all!! Welcome to those who have just joined us, it has been quite inactive here due to my absence over exam season but im praying that life starts to flow through here. And talking about life, I have a fun activity to break the ice between us a little bit. I want to know where you are at with what speaking life means to you! Below please answer these questions: 1. What is your name and in 3 words describe yourself? :) 2. What does speaking life mean to you? 3. How can we pray for you this week? I look forward to getting to know you all!

My name is Sharisa, and in three words I’d say: resilient, growing, intentional. Speaking life to me means choosing words that align with God’s truth, even when my feelings don’t. You can pray for continued peace and clarity for me this week. 🤍
