I pitched at the Moonshot State Semifinals and Finals on October 18 and it was an incredible experience. 155 start up businesses from across the state had been narrowed to 20 semifinalists. A small room of judges select 8 finalists, to present, with only seconds of notice to a room full of amazing business builders and supporters! Standing in that room reminded me what entrepreneurship is really about. Showing up, taking risks, and cheering for others doing the same. I did not win the $10,000 first prize or the $5,000 community favorite award, but I felt like a winner!
