Trusting God in the Process
Lesson 3 Trusting God in the Process Trust is formed in the process. There are seasons when God does not give immediate answers, not because He is silent, but because He is inviting us to trust Him more deeply. Trust is not built when everything makes sense. It is built when we choose to rely on God even when the outcome is unclear. Scripture reminds us: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5 Trusting God in the process means releasing the need to understand every step before taking it. It means learning to rest in who God is, even when the path ahead feels uncertain. Often, the process feels slow, uncomfortable, or stretching, but it is within that space that God shapes our faith. Trust does not remove responsibility, but it does remove the burden of control. When we surrender our timelines, expectations, and fears to God, we make room for His peace to lead us forward. This is not a one-time decision. Trust is a daily posture. Some days it feels steady. Other days it feels fragile. Both are part of the journey. Take a moment to reflect: • Where is God asking me to trust Him more right now? • What fears surface when I struggle to trust the process? • What might surrender look like for me in this season? • How can I continue to walk in obedience while waiting on God? You are not behind. You are being formed. Bible & Me Finding My Voice Through the Word of God Making room for what God is doing now Shay’s Voice…..A Quiet Whisper 💜

Renewing My Mind
Lesson 2 Renewing My Mind Renewal begins in the mind. The thoughts we allow to stay will eventually shape how we see ourselves, how we respond to others, and how we trust God. Renewal does not happen automatically it happens when we become aware of what we’re carrying and invite God into that space. Scripture reminds us: “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Romans 12:2 Renewing the mind is not about controlling every thought. It is about learning to pause, recognize what does not align with God’s truth, and gently surrender it back to Him. This is a daily practice. Some days it feels easy. Other days it feels slow. Both are part of the process. Take a moment to reflect: - What thoughts have been shaping my mindset lately? - Are there thoughts I’ve been carrying that do not align with God’s truth? - What might renewal look like for me in this season? There is no pressure to fix everything at once. Awareness is the first step. Bible & Me Finding My Voice Through the Word of God Making room for what God is doing now Shay’s Voice…..A Quiet Whisper 💜

✍🏽 My Reflection Lesson 2: Mindset & Renewal Question 1: What thoughts have been shaping my mindset lately? Lately, my thoughts have been focused on how I am going to remain in the posture God has called me to in this season. I am learning how to let Him guide me through what feels like a Martha season, with so much to do and so many responsibilities pulling at my attention. In the midst of it all, I am becoming more aware of how important it is to renew my mind daily with God’s Word. I see how easily my thoughts can drift if I’m not intentional. Each day requires me to take my thoughts captive, stay grounded in faith, and remember that God is present even in the busyness. Question 2: Are there thoughts I’ve been carrying that do not align with God’s truth? Every now and then, the thought comes up asking if I can truly do what God said I can do. I question whether I will walk this out in excellence or steward this season the way He desires. When those thoughts surface, I am reminded that this journey is not about my strength or my ability. It is about God getting the glory. He would not have called me if He had not already equipped me. Remembering that truth helps quiet the doubt and refocus my heart. Question 3: What might renewal look like for me in this season? Renewal in this season looks like staying the course and keeping God first. It means not allowing the spirit of sloth to take root, even on days when I feel tired or stretched. Renewal also looks like balance, understanding when I need to be Martha and when I need to be Mary. Choosing the better thing means intentionally renewing my mind each day through God’s Word. It looks like reading a Scripture or two, meditating on it, and allowing His truth to realign my thoughts so that my spirit stays anchored in Him. Shay’s Voice…..A Quiet Whisper 💜
Lesson 1 Reset & Renew (January Overview)
January invites us to pause. Not to rush into the new year, but to reflect, release, and realign our hearts with God. Resetting is not about erasing the past it’s about laying it down. Renewal happens when we allow God to restore what has been weary. Scripture reminds us: “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing.” Isaiah 43:18–19 “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Romans 12:2 This month is about surrender, not striving. God is not asking you to carry what no longer belongs to you into this season. He is inviting you to release the former things, for the old has passed away and the new has arrived: new perspective, new peace, and renewed trust. As you begin January, take a moment to reflect: - What feels heavy that God may be asking you to release? - Where do you need renewal in your thoughts, your faith, or your rest? You don’t need to have all the answers. Simply make room for God to speak. ✍🏽 My Reflection Lesson 1: Reset & Renew Question 1: What feels heavy that God may be asking me to release? I feel like God is asking me to let go of worry especially the kind of worry that tries to pull me into things beyond my control. As a parent, navigating emotions, stress, and uncertainty can feel overwhelming. Part of me says, that’s my baby, and another part reminds me that I am a vessel and that my children first belong to God. He formed them in my womb. He knew them before I did. And because of that, He knows the outcome far greater than I ever could. That truth gives me hope. It helps me have faith even on the days when I feel like my parenting isn’t enough or that I’m getting it wrong. God always sends reminders that with Him, I can do the impossible and that all things truly do work together for His good. Question 2: Where do I need renewal in my thoughts, faith, or rest? I see that my thoughts need to be taken captive especially when the enemy tries to play the same movie over and over in my mind. I’m learning that when I express my thoughts honestly and let God know how I’m feeling, He sees me through. He shows me how to get through anything by trusting Him. The enemy tries to keep me bound by fear and repetition, but God says no. He reminds me that I am not stuck, not powerless, and not alone. Renewal for me looks like trusting God with my thoughts, not holding them in silence, and allowing Him to lead me forward one step at a time. Shay’s Voice…..A Quiet Whisper 💜
January.....Reset & Renew | Start Here
Welcome to January’s journey. This month is not about resolutions, pressure, or trying to become someone new overnight. It is about pausing, releasing what no longer belongs to you, and allowing God to renew your heart and mind. January’s focus is Reset & Renew. You are invited to move through this month gently. There is no schedule to keep up with and no expectation to share. Read quietly if you need to. Reflect when you’re ready. Engage only as you feel led. Throughout January, we will reflect on: - Renewing the mind - Letting go of the past - Realigning with God’s will - Stepping into the new Begin wherever you feel drawn. You don’t have to complete everything for it to be meaningful. One moment with God is enough. As you move through this month, ask yourself: - What is God asking me to release? - Where is He inviting me to trust Him more? - What might renewal look like in this season? Take your time. God is not rushing you. Bible & Me....Finding My Voice Through the Word of God Making room for what God is doing now Shay’s Voice…..A Quiet Whisper 💜
