So, I’m a little bit of a nerd. I’ve always enjoyed electronics, and especially programming. There’s just something about mechanical, electrical, and software all coming together to bring about a desired action. One simple programming tool is the “if, then” clause. If X, Y, Z exists, then do THIS. It seems so straight forward. It’s almost easy to reapply that to our programming. Some of us probably do it without knowing. If I could just….then I would finally…. My example is mostly, if I could just get up and work out, then I’d finally be fit. Maybe for some it’s, “if I finally got that promotion, then…” “If I knew how to, then I’d finally…” “If my spouse did this, then I’d do that….” Yesterday, I was reminded of our Godly programming. He is…, so I shall.. He is all knowing, so I shall submit to him. He is perfect, so I shall walk in freedom. He is love, so I shall be loved. Today, leverage Romans 12:2. Do not conform to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Be “reprogrammed” for peace, love, joy, kindness, goodness, and gentleness today.
