These niches are dead. It’s brutal, but I have to tell you the truth. Why? Because your potential clients are looking at your offer... And then they are looking at ChatGPT... And they are realising they can get the same general advice, routines, and "mindset shifts" for free. They’re sitting there thinking: "I don't need to pay for this. I can just ChatGPT it." The data shows us that demand for these general niches is dropping like a stone... which means the cost to get a client is skyrocketing. The era of selling "information" is over. AI has killed it. So, does this mean coaching is dead? No. But "Generic Coaching" IS dead as a dodo. To survive in this new economy, you need what I call a Specific Outcome Niche. You need to be able to say: "I can get you [Specific Result] in [Timeframe] using [Method]." If you can't do that? You DON’T have a business. The good news is... Step One – C – Clarify Problem Example Clarifying The Problem Questions: Probably the best place to start is, what would you say the biggest challenge is with [insert the core problem] right now? Tell me more about that. Why do you say that’s your biggest challenge? How is that impacting you specifically? Why do you want to get rid of this? How long has this been going on? What is stopping you from fixing this? If you knew what you needed to fix this, what would that be? Step Two – L – Link Pain Example Link To The Pain Questions How are you getting the outcome you want at the moment? What if you don’t do this now? Why not stay where you are? Why all of a sudden is this important now? What’s keeping you from figuring this out on your own? How would your life be different than it is now if you got this sorted? Step Three – O – Observe Past Example Observe The Past Questions: In the past, what have you tried that hasn’t worked? What was the consequence of it not working for you? In the past, what have you tried to fix this? In the past, if you knew what you know now, how would you like to be supported? When it comes to getting help now, what exactly do you feel like you need?
