Finding Your Artist Name.. to change or not to change?
How did ya'll find/create your artist name? Also how do we feel about changing your Artist name after you have already established your current one? I be going back and forth about this all the time... the pros and the cons...

@Lacey Jackson thank you for the input! I am using a stage name "Mz Azia" which I have no problem with, I like the pseudonym however my real name I also resonate with in a different way Shai Quinn or something similar to that may be more true to me. I am also a notorious over thinker so we'll see if I change it haha

CONSISTENCY
How consistently do you guys release music? Do you think it’s enough? Or you feel like you should be releasing more?

Honestly it depends on what your objective is, long term and/or short term. Once a month or a couple times a month is a good turn around time to keep the fire going. However if you want to really go hard hard, try dropping once a week for 6 months to a year and see what happens. Mind you, in order for that to happen, unless you already have 25- 30 songs ready to drop, you will need to record and stack until you have that amount so take that time to do so and give yourself a deadline. Of course make sure each song is quality and the marketing is planned out, then I would seek guidance on a rollout plan for the next 6 months to a year and go from there.
writers block?
How do you guys overcome writers block?

When I have writers block, I actually like to go for a walk outside. Don't underestimate the power of nature and change in environment. I also like to reflect on my intention for the song I am writing, if I don't have one that's probably why I am blocked in the first place. Once I set my intention for the song then I immerse myself in the beat and start riffing melodies out loud. Once I have a few solid melodies I start to write phrases and words down that revolve around my intention for the song. Creative clarity stems from mental and emotional direction for me. Hope this helps:)
