Are we using AI?
Most entrepreneurs still see AI as something ā€œfor the futureā€ā€¦ but the reality is it’s already shaping which businesses win today. Question is: will you be the one using AI to save hours, cut costs, and scale faster — or the one trying to catch up later? šŸš€ Curious to hear — how (if at all) are you using AI in your business right now?

@Naila Din it has become very advanced and sometimes you are not able to tell if it is an AI bot as long as the person who created it was a very good at prompting that is. 🤣
šŸ”„ AI in Education: Big Question or Big Opportunity?
Hey guys, Right now, one of the most important questions being asked is this: How do we prepare our kids, our teachers, and our businesses for the AI era? I was recently invited to join a panel of experts for TechRound to weigh in on a major new initiative - $23 million being invested by OpenAI, Microsoft, and Anthropic to train 400,000 teachers across the US on how to understand and use AI in the classroom. I shared my thoughts not just as an entrepreneur, but as a certified behavioural profiler, someone with a Doctorate in Education, and as someone who’s trained thousands of business owners who felt failed by the rigid, outdated education system. AI could be the revolution education desperately needs - not just an evolution. And I’d love to know what you think: – Is this the right move for education? – What role should AI play in how we learn and teach? – And how do we make sure it empowers, not replaces, our teachers? Let me know in the comments or message me directly - I’m always up for a good conversation about future-proofing business and learning. Especially keen for feedback from our resident Ai expert @Chris Matthews šŸ‘‰ Have a quick read here if you’re curious: https://techround.co.uk/news/startups-investing-ai-good-move-education/

The reality is, AI is both exciting and risky depending on how it’s used. Hallucination has been and still is one of the biggest issues right now, tools producing information that sounds credible but is completely made up. The lawyer fined for fake citations is a perfect example, but I’ve also seen it in everyday business use where people take outputs at face value. That’s why I always stress: AI should be your assistant, not your authority. It can massively boost communication, productivity, and creativity but we still need the human judgement, fact-checking, and critical thinking on top. On the education side, I think the teacher training initiative is exactly the kind of move we need. If we want to prepare the next generation, it’s not just about using AI, it’s about understanding its limits and capabilities. Teachers who are properly trained can show students how to question results, verify sources, and think critically which is actually a skillset that will set them up for life but they first need to be trained in themselves for them to teach others. So for me, it’s all about balance. AI is like an amplifier: if you use it blindly, it will amplify mistakes, but if you use it responsibly, it will amplify your strengths. That’s the mindset I’m bringing into my own work with businesses helping them save time, cut costs, and scale without falling into the trap of hallucination or blind trust.

Introduction
Hi, I’m Faisal Mahmood, and while I come from a tech and computer science background, I promise I’m not your typical geek! In 2003, I co-founded Medialogix, a software company specialising in helping organisations better manage their media content—images, videos, audio files, and more. Our clients are primarily in the public sector (police, NHS), government (including the military), and large corporates like the Financial Times. Many of our clients have been with us since the early 2000s, and our subscription-based model has helped us establish a long-term partnership approach. While most clients are based in the UK, we also serve organisations in Ireland, France, and Italy. Recently, I’ve been expanding my focus to support SMEs, having worked with a care home group and other businesses that need to manage their media or marketing content. If your business has a marketing or PR department or produces and sells products there’s a good chance we can help. Since 2017, I’ve also been involved in property investment, which started as a background project but has recently taken centre stage. In the last two months, I’ve launched two property businesses and an investment company, giving this area a much sharper focus. Outside of business, I’ve been actively involved in my local community since 2009, working with charities and community groups. I even co-founded a community radio station in Peterborough, where I still volunteer, offering opportunities for local businesses to advertise. Currently, I’m also building my personal brand with a podcast on the way. Outside of work, I make it a priority to stay active by going to the gym regularly, enjoying luxury holidays, and spending quality time with my family, the perfect balance to keep me energised and focused.
