I come from a marketing background and I have a small team of talented sales people that I picked carefully (each has 3+ years of experience). But since it has been only me who trains them (for a year now), I'm sure we're doing so many things wrong. Do you think that with proper training, call reviews, new SOPs, etc - we can 2-3x their conversion rates with the same type of leads? I know for sure this is possible with bad landing pages. But I'm not sure about sales calls.
Hey guys, We run a typical VSL funnel, where people sign up from Meta to watch the free videos. The problem - tracking only leads is misleading as it doesn't take into consideration the targeting, while tracking sales is very slow to reach a conclusion. I'm also tracking % of people that finish the VSL - but that doesn't seem too indicative neither. Any idea?
We currently sell our courses ($1.8k) by calling up the people that signup from the Ads directly. This means we don't have separate setters and closers. It's the same person doing both basically (we try to close on the first call - or reschedule if they're busy now). So it's always a normal phonecall, not Zoom. We have around 3.5% conversion rate. Are we leaving a lot of money on the table?
