Sprawl proof your takedown
https://vm.tiktok.com/ZGdH79Cjy/ He does it by going elbow deep. Another detail I like for this one is making sure your outside foot is not behind your opponent but laterally from his foot to make sure you don't get his foot caught while switching to the single leg.

7 courses already!
Big shout-out to @Filip Swennen for already publishing 7 courses here (premium members only). So far we have: - Basics - Kihon - Muchimi: power development - Head punch defense: sashite - Low kick offense - Low kick defense - Knife defense The next course will probably be using the spine. Any courses you'd like for yourself or your students?

And then the next question... Who finished them all already? 🤭

@Jürgen Paulus then I'll have to go through low kick defense again 😅🫣
Strength and conditioning for fighters - mobility work
I always struggle timing my S&C sessions. I either do them over lunch or after skills. But getting extra mobility in just wasn't an option. Already training skills 1-2hours daily and then some strength sessions, who has the time? Well... Turns out that you can do them during your test periods while lifting. Just a useful way to use your dead recovery time. Drop your favorite mobility exercise in the comments 👇

Scramble Drill
Hello guys...a few days ago I shared a video with Tani Otoshi. Yesterday we worked on a Scramble Drill that involves that takedown. The main idea with this drill is to do it as fast but a the same time as smoothly as we can and to try to connect and do every action as continuous as possible. It goes like this: Pummel Forwards -> Duck Under - > Push Forwards into Tani Otoshi - > Let the partner go into Turtle and let him get up -> Mantain the grip but a allow him to spin into you - > Repeat for five minutes. You can change parts of it into whatever you may want, like after the partner gets up you do a return or after the spin, you go for a throw, etc.
