FACT: More content doesn’t mean more value.
In fact, it often creates overwhelm… and overwhelmed members don’t engage (or they leave). Instead: → Build only what’s needed → Teach live first, then turn it into resources → Unlock content over time so people actually use it Your goal isn’t a full classroom. It's real transformation. If your members feel momentum, they stay. If they feel behind, they disappear.

@Lindsay MacGregor Love that - Calmer way forward… not sure how to implement in my current season because life is ‘lifing’ for sure, but it is absolutely aspirational for me. 🌻
Most people don’t need a giant AI app.
They need ONE simple tool that solves ONE annoying problem. That’s it. 👏 Examples: - Etsy listing generator - Prompt generator - Coloring page creator - Social caption writer - Meal planner Here’s where folks get stuck: They spend 6 months trying to build “the next big thing” instead of launching something useful TODAY. Meanwhile somebody else made a basic little AI tool with: - one button - one result - one payment link …and they’re already getting paid. 💀 Your first app does NOT need: - 47 tabs - complicated coding - a Silicon Valley budget - three anxiety attacks and a spiritual awakening Build ugly first.Make it work.Let AI do the heavy lifting.Sell the RESULT, not the fancy tech words. People don’t care about your infrastructure. They care if it saves them time, stress, or money. That’s the game now. 🔥

@Melinda Hovis I resemble this comment, 🤦🏻‍♀️ 😂. I need to pare down my ideas and build a simple system that can scale.
About Page Reviews 📝
I reviewed 40 members 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 to look for the following opportunities: 1. More conversions 2. More free to paid members 3. More engagement Find out what I found, how Viv, The Skool Mentor improved them and next steps you should take to optimize your About Page. Next step, share your updated Skool About Page below and ask for feedback from other members. Then, give feedback (bonus points if you add a Loom!) to two other communities who have posted under this thread.

I finally finished my double sided marketplace, Our Farmers Market, last week and it’s a little tricky to explain in my about page - would love some feedback if I’m on the right track? Thanks so much!

@Auli Takala Same! I want to be able to create meaningful groups or content that ultimately helps folks solve a problem, but also replace my income. It’s a tricky one for sure. I am still learning. I think I’m going to create a ChatGPT because I love tools and sort of guide my members through what they think they might want and then have a pinned post where they can all just talk freely about their groups and what they want to do. I’m not sure, would that work for your group?

@Auli Takala I think there is a sweet spot, too much info too fast is a deterrent but not enough is also. My friend is doing live builds, maybe you could go live and ask your members what they would like to see or learn or share?
Getting Your First 50 Members (Without Ads)
First off… if you’ve started your Skool community >> congrats, amazing and fantastic!! 🎉 Such a good place to be right now. I’ve actually stepped away from Instagram and LinkedIn over the last month, and I’m all in on Skool… and honestly? The shift feels really good. I’m seeing a lot of new people getting started, so I wanted to keep this super simple: 👉 You can get your first 50 members without ads. 👉 You don’t need a big audience. 👉 You don’t need to overcomplicate it. I mapped out exactly how to do it in the infographic below 👇 Share in the comments what you already knew...and what was new to you!
