@Cristian Florea I have updated now with async. I actually used async initially, but then tried the fetch-try-catch method just to see if I could. I prefer async/await though!

@Joshua Tillman for me it was a 12 week bootcamp, crazy ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜… I was up past midnight almost every night and back for more learning everyday. My husband and kids pretty much didnโ€™t see me lol. I remember when I had to complete a react API challenge I was up till 5am, hadnโ€™t done that since uni ๐Ÿ˜† it was really full on and it pushed me to the limit. I learned a lot, and some valuable life lessons which I donโ€™t regret but for the money I wouldnโ€™t recommend as it doesnโ€™t get you job ready unless youโ€™ve got a lot more experience going in. I got lucky and managed to get into a startup about 6months after the bootcamp which let me keep practicing but like I said, I knew I didnโ€™t fully understand even basic concepts so Iโ€™m at a point now where I know I need to re-learn everything properly. Youโ€™re going to love react, will look forward to seeing you completing the challenges in Jan, and hopefully by then Iโ€™ll be confident enough to give you some feedback !! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

I think I have this working bug free now ๐Ÿ˜… I used click up as inspo for the priority selection/sorting. Tips and feedback welcome https://codesandbox.io/p/sandbox/react-challenge-6-3gddpc

@Monica Ular Thanks for this feedback ๐Ÿ™ I actually meant to do this, but somehow forgot to look into it, my brain is like a sieve sometimes! ๐Ÿ˜†

Thanks @Adelin Rosca ! I'll make sure to remove the select hover ๐Ÿ˜‚ I hadn't noticed you could add a task without a name so thank for pointing out. The rest I will look into, thanks ๐Ÿ™

I thought this was going to be relatively simple, then spent the next few hours changing my data structure 3 times, forgetting return statement, mucking up syntax etc. etc Got there eventually but definitely need to keep practicing until this becomes more natural. https://codesandbox.io/p/sandbox/rj3ry2 tips and feedback welcome :)

@Adelin Rosca Thanks I'll look into it. I initially used item.id, but then i got an error saying something about two items having the same key, so i just used this random method, but i'll do some console logging to see what happens. Thank for the feedback ๐Ÿ™

@Adelin Rosca I made those changes, at first it felt broken taking away the button and having onchange, but i see what you mean about removing the handleSort function and just sorting in the render method, that way its always sorted based on whatever is in the sortOrder state ๐Ÿ’ก๐Ÿ’ก Thanks for explaining that, hopefully with time Iโ€™ll get better at spotting these patterns!

@Cristian Florea thanks for the feedback ๐Ÿ™ I made those updates by adding a default (unsorted) option, and refactored the sorting into a separate function so as not to have long if else statements in the render method.
