I think this version was my 72th try haha.. so it challenged me a bit more than I was suspecting at the beginning tbh;) But now it's there! thoughts on community rules, podcast guests, and role of AI
good evening my friends, here are my suggestions on how to make this community a safe place for everybody: 1. I updated the community rules to “1. be nice, 2. support each other, 3. make this a safe, 4.inclusive space, relaxed energy”. 2. I recorded a new podcast episode with diEgita, which I might not release - I'm explaining why in the loom. 3. I'd love this community to be our joint effort to build a solid instrumental craft and music career, even in the age of AI. rather how we can use it as artists and less as using AI to make music quickly. let me know what you think. sending you relaxed energy 🦦

💯!! I agree with everything you said, Basti! We do gentle music for gentle people. Openness, understanding and tolerance must always be the basis of our interactions with one another, regardless of the level at which we are involved. We support and help each other. To the other points: I trust your feeling.. if it doesn´t feel right releasing it, then don´t do it. I encourage you and I don't want to see it either then. I think it's great that you set boundaries in this regard. And concerning AI: I have decided not to use AI in any way in my process trying to create art. It should remain an expression of myself. AI will completely change many areas.. For me, creating music should always be kind of escape from that. The beautiful thing is that music has the power to connect people.. and I want to continue doing this in its purest form. Those were my thoughts :) Have a nice week everyone!

New to group/ Beautiful sounding tape echo
Hello all! I’m excited to grow as a musician with you all! Just got this new toy in the mail today. Can’t wait to use it. Its a “digital” tape echo pedal that is very convincing for you audiophiles. Hermanos Gutirerrez credit the galloping echo sound to this pedal.

Mighty El Cap gets a lot of love here :) It´s one of my "always on" pedals. Just a small note: the El Cap is digital.. but it´s sounds really warm and organic! Have fun Joe and welcome to the guitarwavers 🏄♂️🎶

@Joe Cabrera I guess the 60 cycle hum comes from the powering or the pickups. Do you use isolated power- outputs like the ones from Cioks? They are really good. I also got a little 60 cycle hum from the P90s.. but the El Cap itself should be totally quiet...
