You know I’m going to live this one
Open Studio
Join me whilst I doodle away. It's a well earned break for your Nervous System. It's a wonderful tool to heal pain and to bring you into rest and recuperation.

Very relaxing to watch
Open Art Session
In a couple of hours I’m doing an open studio session. I’ve decided I need colour, so I’m using alcohol pens on white card. I’d love it if you want to use this session to create too. Nothing fancy, just the act of making marks can have a profound effect on the nervous system and release. 🧡

This sounds awesome. Focus on creativity is a great way to quieten the prefrontal cortex and amygdala and calm the nervous system.
Fascia release and learning to let go has been a complete game changer for me.
What started as a way to ease physical pain became a doorway into something much bigger. I’ve found that when I slow down, listen to my body, and create space for release, things begin to shift in ways I could never have forced through effort alone. I’m still exploring this work and deepening my understanding of it, but I’m excited to start bringing more of it into this community. Over the coming weeks I’ll be sharing practices, reflections, experiments, and opportunities to explore alongside me. Not because I have all the answers, but because this work has had such a profound impact on my own healing journey that it feels too valuable not to share. I’d love to discover where it might take us.

The fascia has become a big focus recently. It plays a major role and I think more and more will come to light. It also stores a lot of resistance and trauma.
There Is No Such Thing As False Hope
I hate it when doctors say they don’t want to give you “false hope”. Hope is hope. There is NOTHING false about it. Hope is tenuous, it’s not definitive. Hope is like knowing there is something out there, but it’s just out of reach. When we’re on a healing journey, the thing we want to be aiming for, the thing that guides our way to healing, is more powerful than any medication, supplement or treatment. It’s BELIEF. Belief that healing is possible. The mind will do its darnedest to disavow us. It’s trying to keep us safe from harm by pulling us back from the ledge. What the mind can’t see though, is that the ledge might actually lead to something beautiful. That possibility only becomes visible when we move beyond the darkness of where we’re standing. But first we have to get ourselves onto the ledge and trust that we’ll be okay. Because if we can hold onto that trust, even just a little, something starts to change. The mind will put hurdles and hazards in the way to stop us stepping out into the abyss. That’s what minds do. To deal with this, we just have to gently return to the body and remind it that it is safe. Not as a one-time fix. As a gentle reminding. Over and over again. Every time fear creeps in and the inner chatter starts telling us this is dangerous. When we feel under threat, the nervous system moves into protection. When we feel safe, it moves towards repair, connection and restoration. Something I realised was that when I was in fear, I would panic-buy supplements or equipment because I thought they would bring me closer to health and safety. Really, all it did was reinforce the feeling of danger. Safety came from within. It was always there. It is always there. The thing is, years of conditioning, for one reason or another, have etched thought patterns into us that once kept us safe. But as adults, those same patterns can keep us stuck. And if anything, they can move us further away from the life we want to create. Healing is beautiful because we get to unpack these stuck patterns and create new, healthier ones that feed our soul and support our body.

Hope is immensely powerful, it leads to faith. We can otherwise drop into scarcity if we fall towards desperation or despair. Focusing on hope keeps us moving towards what we want rather than what we’re afraid of
