Welcome - Start here
Thank you for joining this amazing group. It's early days, so, this group is counting on you to start the conversation. Start with some, or all, of the following: (Let's start talking before we jump right in with our stories. When you reach Level 2 (the number on your profile picture) you can post your testimonial. Please select the right category. If in doubt, select general discussion and we will sort it later) What are your hobbies? What is your favourite genre of films/ movies or music? Are you a: Lion 🦁 - you get stuff done. The only timeline is either right now or a few minutes after right now. Otter 🦦 - some things get done and some things don't. As long as everyone is having a good time my job is done. Beaver 🦫 - the job will get done but not until it can be done right. Golden Retriever 🐕- I'm in no rush, you don't need to notice me, as long as everyone feels safe, I'm good. (Based on Smalley & Trent) What would you like to see in this group? (Development ideas/ improvements/ new category topics).

@Kimberly Armatys This is an awesome response. So much going on with you. I'm particularly interested in your AI journey. I have a few AI projects on the go.

@Kimberly Armatys I can't see it anywhere. Where should I be looking? seanreddaway.co.uk is my A.I. coaching app. Qualityfinder.info is a little something I built to help people not get deceived by the number of cheap tat websites looking like good quality stuff. MunioHub.com is a huge project. Using the power of A.I. to reduce admin in Supported Housing and aiKITT.solutions is a tool to help people validate digital product ideas, build them and then market them. This is at testing stage.
Sell yourself quietly
How do you get your story into conversation without it all being about you. Let's start simple: 1- Ask others about them. 2- Connect their story with yours. 3- Take it straight back to them. This is tried and tested and works every time. What might happen: 1- They just continue to talk about themselves. 2- They stop talking about themselves and ask more about what you just shared. 3- They shut down because you interrupted their flow. What should you do?: 1- Ask them for more detail, to go deeper, to explain more - show interest and they'll love you for it because most people love talking about themselves. Just don't become that person yourself (yet). 2- Tell them "I'm more interested in what you were you were saying about.....Carry on" 3- They may be offended by your interruption but that's okay. You can fix this. "Anyway, you haven't told me nearly enough about.......Tell me more!" The human state is naturally selfish. When you give someone space enough to be selfish, and even encourage it, you build 'creaits of trust'. You can cash these in later but you need to give the investment time to mature.
Getting ahead of the AI game
I am involved in youth work. I thought, AI is going to be huge for this generation and I, in my 50s, need to understand it more so I can connect. So, I started learning and vibe programming. It became a business in its own right. I'm a coach, so I built an AI coaching app at seanreddaway.co.uk I built a Supported Housing safeguarding, compliance and monitoring app at muniohub.com I built a Quality Finder app at qualityfinder.info Then I thought, why not build an app that coaches people through the process of developing a digital product, building it and bringing it to market? So I did. aiKITT.solutions Anything is possible if you do the right things with the right tools.

Welcome!
Hi @Steven Freidberg and thank you for being the first ever member in this group. It has only just gone live so I guess it's up to the two of us make this a great place! In my role as a coach I hear many stories of transformation, growth, and achievement. I created this group to encourage people to share this stories. I'm your own time, think about how you want to share your journey of growth. Not just to members in this group, but to the world! You can publicly share your posts from this group because it can be read by anyone. I want to encourage people to be brave enough to tell their story.

From chaos to peace
I guess my most important testimony is my journey to faith and the results of that. Like many people, I grew up in a lot of chaos and also had two serious periods of homelessness. I manage to avoid addiction circles, which is a miracle in itself, but never really sustained a relationship, a job, a home etc for more than 3 years before things fell apart. I had no idea that I was the problem. I had no religious upbringing and very little Christian influence except for hymns sung at primary school (age 5 to 11), but my increasing realisation of my part that I played in my chaos encouraged me to consider my worth, my value and what I can offer to the world. Like many others, I asked "There must be more to life than this". I came to faith through being curious and recognised that the Christian faith was the only one that gave me eternity as a free gift, not as a response to being good. For a man that had little self-worth, this was a powerful revelation. It has been a long journey but one of increasing peace and an increasing understanding of my reason and purpose for being alive. That's perhaps enough for now. Thanks for reading this.
