Most deals die on the FOURTH touch nobody sent
Most peeps think they lost the deal because their pitch wasn't good enough. Nah. They lost it because they disappeared. 6sense studied nearly 4,000 B2B buyers and found the winning vendor averaged 16 interactions per person before the deal closed. SIXTEEN. That does NOT mean sending 16 “just checking in” emails lol. Gartner found 73% of B2B buyers actively avoid suppliers who send irrelevant outreach. So it’s not about pestering ‘em more. It’s about staying useful… relevant… and hard to forget. This is why I LOVE starting with your Dream 100. By the time you reach out, you don’t just have a company name. You’ve got their email, mobile, LinkedIn AND physical address. That gives ya options. Touch one might be a locked gift. Touch two should be a follow up call Touch three… a short SMS follow up Touch four could be a useful case study via email. Touch five might be engaging with something they posted on LinkedIn. You can send wins, ideas, information and even different offers… without hammering the same channel over and over. With AI making it easier than ever to get someone’s contact info, we’ve got so much room to play around in The only limitation is your creativity! So keep this mind: The person who sent one cold email and heard nothing back didn’t necessarily get rejected. They got forgotten. So before you contact anyone on your Dream 100… Map out the next four or five useful touches FIRST. Your opening pitch doesn’t need to do all the heavy lifting. Your sequence does. Dan

The TINY offer that unlocks BIG deals
I’ve never seen a gent get down on one knee at a coffee shop with someone they just met… Yet most peeps jump on their first coffee date and pitch a chunky monthly retainer. Thousands of dollars. 6m contracts. A YUGE leap of faith from a prospect who barely knows ya. Even if they liked the gift… Even if they’re interested in the offer… That’s still a BIG first yes. So we do the complete opposite. 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐲𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞. For us, that might be a $500-$750 PAID test. Enough that they’ve got skin in the game… But not so much that it needs three meetings and a board vote. Then we structure the deal around performance. If they don’t get paid… we don’t get paid. That removes a ton of risk from their side. Here’s the important bit for those paying attention: Small does NOT mean free. Free requires zero commitment. Paid gets their attention. And when the test works… the next yes becomes much easier. This is how we upsell, cross-sell, upsell. And it’s possible to turn a $500 client into $50K. So on your next coffee date… Don’t try to sell the marriage. 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞. Dan

Looking for alternatives to Lumpy Mail
Hey guys, I have a question for the people here who are already doing database reactivation / Sleeping Beauty. Besides the Lumpy Mail strategy that is recommended in the community for getting bigger businesses to work with you, what other methods have you guys used to find partners? I’m a student and I don’t really have the budget to send out a lot of those lumpy mails with the bottle + letter, so I’m trying to find a more low cost way to get in front of businesses that already have a big database. For those of you who have already landed your first few partnerships, what would you recommend? Cold email, cold DM, networking, referrals, finding agencies to partner with, something else? Would really appreciate hearing what actually worked for you guys, especially if you started with basically no budget.

Hey Luca😎 I respect that you are just starting out, and literally with nothing!! Sometimes this is where the best results come from.. Because you have to be more Creative than anyone else who may have a budget and can afford it!! Have you tried Gemini/claude/chat to see what they push out with your specific situation?! There’s a will there’s a way!! I think Dan is laying the Baseline for this type of outreach here which is not Mainstream right now!! But Due to the idea of giving a gift, just to get attention is exactly something people Wonder-/“Who sent this & Why?” .. So if you can come up with something else let us know!!🫡🥷🏿💎✅
