Tax Filings for Year 2024
Hi everyone. The deadline for tax filings is soon approaching. I would like some guidance on the process. While I know it is just over a week away I have very little or nothing to report for the year 2024. Basically my LLC had not made me money since the end of last month. The only items I may need to report are deductions for LLC filing and other small purchases for the LLC. My LLC was formed in August 2024 and the only outgoings I've had was the formation and filing fees. I know I must fill out the 1040NR what other forms are critical for foreign owner LLCs? I would appreciate all and any input

@Paola Moreno Yes I think I do. Mainly with e-filing. I'm trying to wrap my head around it. If you can provide assistance it would be greatly appreciated

@Mila Vm While I am currently selling to US customers (Through dropshipping currently) I didn't do any business in the year of 2024. So right now I'm lost. I can see with my current situation that my business can be seen as a US trade or business because it sells to US customers through my ebay account. But this was not the case in 2024 as I had not fully completed my ebay account set up at that time. Honestly I'm lost. At this point until I can figure it out I think I need to file an extension. And on that topic I'm told believe I can't file that electronically because I'm a foreign owned LLC

Signing up for Mercury Account
Hello, hope you're all doing well. I'm in the process of registering my Mecury account. I'm at the part with the ownership. It asking me for my personal details and address. I do have access to a US address if I need it or should I put in my home address from Ireland? I want to make sure I don't get denied for setting up an account. Thanks

@Rudolf Schmidt Thank you for your response and for providing a better insight into this. I'm trying to be careful during this process as I don't want to step into any traps. Would you happen to know if I can use a personal bank account for business purposes (this may sound like a stupid question so please correct me if so). I'm guessing it doesn't matter as long as I report the proper information to the IRS about tax. I am waiting for my ITIN to come back to allow me to open personal accounts.

@Rudolf Schmidt Let me say big thank you for taking the time to give me a helpful and detail response to my questions. I apologise for the delay in replies. I will start working on getting my accounts open using the correct methods to avoid issues. Did you get yourself a website for your business?
