Last year, my Dad was diagnosed with Small Cell Lymphoma. In fact, a year ago tomorrow will be 1 year to the day my Dad told my sister, my brother-in-law, and myself. His battle ended this past Saturday Morning. Today is viewing and visitations with tomorrow being the funeral. I chose the Polo/Chinos combination for the visitation, but will wear a suit for the Funeral, which I will show tomorrow morning. Here’s my OotD: Charles Tyrwhitt Navy Smart Polo Charles Tyrwhitt Chinos Thursday Boots Executive Snip-toe Oxfords Anson Belt and Buckle Seiko 5 Series
Hi All, sorry for disappearing. Bought a house and was focusing on work. I feel a bit silly asking but it’s been years since I bought shoes in the Bay Area (that was not a second hand store). A buddy of mine is just getting into quality men’s fashion and wants to get a couple good shoes around $250-$400 each. What would you all suggest?
There are a couple companies your buddy could turn to. Thursday Boots work well and are under budget on a cost-per-pair-basis, only drawback is they are limited if your friend has wide feet. Idrese is a nice option for custom options and will make larger widths if needed. Just be careful as their widths do run a bit wider than normal.
When you’re leveling up your style, what’s your realistic monthly budget for upgrades (shirts, shoes, tailoring, grooming, etc.)? Drop your vote — and if you want, comment what you’d prioritize first (shoes, jacket, basics, tailoring).
Depends on what I'm looking for, honestly. Monetary Budget is already made; I'll just move money that was pre-set for a flexible part of the budget if I find what I'm looking for or something that will fit in for work, such as Waterproof Boots for the winter.
