Rhythm or lead
When you first started learning what was your main interest rhythm or lead playing and what influenced you to it?

I was all about lead playing when I was in my teens and 20's. After I took 20+ years off to raise my kids, when I started playing again, I realized that I needed to get good at rhythm before I could even think of trying to play lead again. So now it's rhythm first after warmups.
Moving soon
Finally moving on Wednesday not really excited to have set all my stuff up again lol. Plus I'm moving into an apartment so now it's all playing through headphones. 😒 Unless I have really cool neighbors lol. Lucky for me I got some electric drums to play

I hope it all goes well for you. I personally look forward to downsizing a bit when my wife and I retire. I just need a small room for the Marshall half-stack, the 1/2 dozen or so guitars I will keep, and my workbench. Oh, and a comfy chair to sit in while I play.
I found the perfect strap for my Fender x Pac-Man Telecaster!
Check out the Pac-Man themed guitar strap I found for my Fender x Pac-Man Telecaster. It's a match made in heaven! Video here: https://youtube.com/shorts/epc3E6v-oGw Here is a link to the Pac-Man strap (and more) at CraftyFunofaWitch's Etsy store: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1041867510/handmade-assorted-2-inch-adjustable

@Toby Brady Thanks man. A quick search and I found the perfect strap. I couldn't be happier. She makes some great guitar straps (and other things).
Which do you prefer and why
So who prefers a floyd over a hard tail like myself and why?

I was a Floyd Rose player most of my life until I got into Les Pauls. But if you are playing a lot of 80's - 90's hard rock, you will want to have at least one guitar with a Floyd. Different tools for different styles of playing. Nowadays I play them both equally. I have always floated my Floyds perfectly (on bodies that were routed to float) and rarely had issues with them going out of tune. To me, the biggest drawbacks on a floating bridge (versus my Stratocaster that rests on the body) is mostly bending notes, especially double spot bends, and then palm muting.
Fender x Pac-Man Telecaster arrived this week!
This is my first Telecaster. Since my YouTube channel is about Gaming & Guitar Gear, I had to own this limited edition. Perfect way to add a Tele to the collection. You can see the unboxing here https://youtube.com/shorts/xG2NhH5FHSc?feature=share

@Shawn Broad They were made to order and only sold on the Fender website. So you would only be able to find them on the used market.

@Jeremiah Goins It played OK when I unboxed it. She had a buzz on first and second fret, so it needs a setup. I’ve been so busy that it is sitting on the workbench waiting to be setup. I should be able to dedicate the time on Saturday. Then I plan to practice on the Tele all week.
