Hey guys, I just wanted to share some of my work. Like most of us, I'm a self taught artist. I'm still finding my niche and have dabbled in a lot of different mediums: acrylic, watercolor, oil pastels, alcohol marker, water based ink, collage art, and charcoal. I've yet to try oils or colored pencil. Here's an acrylic painting I did, goodness I think over 6 years ago (Ignore the clouds. Are any of you currently submitting work to art shows/exhibits? I have entered a few this year after not entering any last year. So far nothing has been accepted, but at least not rejected yet either since the deadlines are just now approaching for all three shows. Here's the one I just entered to OPA's online spring showcase. I entered the old shed painting in the National Exhibition and if it manages to be accepted, I might be taking a trip to Steamboat Springs to attend the opening. Aside from loving Colorado, it would be exciting to make it into that show and I'd like to see it on the wall.

I'm working on the first video for the Orchid Walk course today. I found Cranefly, Adam & Eve, and Rattlesnake plantain orchids today. They're not blooming yet, but I'll keep watching until they do and then update the course again then. In late April-early May there will also be Showy and Twayblade orchids to watch. And if I'm lucky, I'll find the little Three-birds orchid again.
