Hey Guys 👋😎! My name is Santeri and I create music under Sane D. I've been building my home studio for a couple years now and focus has been recording my own vocals and crafting my sound (forever going process 😄). I believe I've come to a phase that I have way more than good enough gear / environment to create quality music (now it's just a skill issue). The mixing & mastering phase is still quite overwhelming and even though i have created couple songs that i like myself (probably with dumb luck and messing with some settings) I believe that learning and understanding the process better helps me to create better final songs and understand what i could do different in recording phase so next phases have some change to enhance the song and not just bring mistakes to light. Whether I become so amazing at mixing & mastering that I don't need a REAL engineer (highly doubt it) or even learn to make better rough demos that i then send forward, I believe I have a lot to learn and hopefully can share some value to other members too.
