Here is the latest prompt. Write a poem addressed to a part of your body you rarely think about. Knees. Earlobes. Lungs. What would you say to it, now that you're paying attention?

Time for our next prompt. Write a poem or prose that begins mid-sentence, as if the reader is arriving late to a conversation, event or activity that begun before their arrival. It's all about experimenting with dropping the reader straight into the action. What does starting in the middle change? Have a go. Maybe recall a situation where you found yourself in a similar situation. Write from there.

I have another prompt for you today. Let me know how you get on with this one. Write about a beginning that felt like an ending, or an ending that felt like a beginning. The moments in time we promised love so true. Sing me a river of songs: words, falling through, The melody that captures the mind and fools the heart, the way lovers do. Of moments and passions so bewildering that none could ever redirect what was felt, what only I knew. Cry me a river reflecting on lives past: old and new, Glimpses fluttering by the way butterfly wings do.
