Beautiful Prayer
Trusting God in the Waiting
Sometimes the hardest part of faith is waiting. We pray, believe, and hope — yet the answer doesn’t always come when we expect it. In those moments, it’s easy to feel forgotten, discouraged, or weary. But God is never late, and He is always working behind the scenes for our good. Waiting seasons are not wasted seasons. God often uses them to strengthen our faith, deepen our trust, and prepare us for what’s ahead. What feels like silence may actually be God building something greater than we can see. 📖 “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles…” — Isaiah 40:31 Today, don’t give up because the answer hasn’t arrived yet. Keep praying. Keep trusting. Keep believing. God’s timing is perfect, and His promises never fail. 🙏 Prayer:Lord, help me trust You even when I cannot see the outcome. Strengthen my heart in the waiting and remind me that You are always faithful. Give me peace to rest in Your timing and confidence in Your promises. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 💬 What is one area of your life where you are learning to trust God’s timing? 📚 Hey everybody! Healing from Past Hurts
Sometimes the hardest chains to break are the ones connected to past hurt. Pain from betrayal, rejection, abandonment, or harsh words can quietly follow us for years if we do not surrender it to God. But healing begins when we choose forgiveness. Forgiveness does not always mean the other person deserves it. Sometimes forgiveness is less about freeing them and more about freeing ourselves. When we hold on to bitterness, anger, and resentment, it weighs down our hearts and steals our peace. God never intended for us to carry that burden forever. The Bible says in Ephesians 4:31-32: “Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you… Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.” Forgiveness is not pretending the hurt never happened. It is choosing to release the pain into God’s hands instead of allowing it to poison our hearts. It is trusting that God is our healer, defender, and peace. Jesus also reminds us in Matthew 11:28: “Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Today, give God the hurt you’ve been carrying. Release the bitterness. Release the offense. Release the pain. God can heal what people broke, and He can restore peace where wounds once lived. Prayer: Lord, help me let go of every hurt that keeps me bound. Teach me to forgive the way You have forgiven me. Remove bitterness from my heart and replace it with peace, healing, and freedom. I surrender my pain to You today. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 💬 What is one thing God has helped you release so you could walk in peace? Hey everybody! Devotional - Walking in Peace
Scripture: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” – John 14:27 Reflection: Life can feel noisy and rushed. There are deadlines, responsibilities, and unexpected challenges that try to steal our calm. Yet Jesus offers a different kind of peace — one that doesn’t depend on perfect circumstances. His peace is steady, quiet, and strong even when the day feels overwhelming. Peace isn’t the absence of problems; it’s the presence of God with you in the middle of them. When worries begin to rise, pause and remember that you are not walking alone. God’s presence goes before you, stands beside you, and stays behind you. You can breathe deeply, release what you cannot control, and trust Him with what lies ahead. Prayer: Lord, thank You for the gift of Your peace. Help me to slow down and remember that You are near. Calm my thoughts, guide my choices, and fill my heart with confidence in Your care today. Amen. Today’s Action: Take one quiet minute today — no phone, no noise — and simply breathe and thank God for three things you’re grateful for. Let that moment reset your heart
