OMG has my comment section been SPICY in the worst way possible this week. It never fails to amaze me that there are so many strangers willing to be total a-holes for little reason. I posted a video that was meant to be just a funny blooper but I apparently failed to convey the lightheartedness of this reel… and the internet is hating on us HARD. So… how do you handle the trolls? Usually when it’s just a few a day, it’s kind of amusing. But hundreds. Sheesh- I’m exhausted. 🤣 I actually deactivated my TikTok. I keep asking myself “would I go to this person for advice?!” Noooo. Then their opinion is irrelevant. This particular reel has likely triggered something within these people’s own insecurities but I really didn’t intend that… Anyways! If you have other tips, let me know. Should I have ignored them? The age old question- what do we do with the haters- first off I never engage with them. They are looking for us to respond and start a fight, I refuse to give them that satisfaction. If it's vulgar and offensive I block them and delete, I dont want their negativity on my page. If it's not so bad I say sending you good vibes. I don't give it energy and they typcially stop because they relaize we aren't fighting back. I have zero hesitation on blocking people because if you allow them to continuously talk shit on your page, they will. Please do not let any of those troll saffect you- that's what they pray for sitting in their moms basement. If you wanna take it a step further, you can go on their page and take a screenshot of their face and let me tell you that will make you feel a lot better about yourself LMAO. They are typically grumpy older people or absolutely miserable when you see what they look like. Putting a face to the comment usually helps:)

@Christina Thompson yep so true!! When we first started on TikTok, we had so many videos go viral and the amount of negative comments started flooding in and I was shocked LMAO but all of that engagement actually helped the videos go even more viral so I said thank you!

We use a tripod for when we are both in the shot or we do selfie style or we use a selfie stick if we need the camera further away. All depends, we are loving the new tripod that has a magsafe connector-so much easier.

What are your techy must-haves?
We want to get new cameras etc for making videos instead of only using our phones. What do you recommend?
