I don’t know about the best but the worst I keep hearing all the time I think is : “First year is always the worst. You will be fine if you get past the first” - I heard this from Christians mostly and I think that is very pessimistic and makes you think there is not much exciting to look forward to in the first year. I think when people say that they probably want to assure you that it is going to be fine after you adjust and understand more but it comes off as you will be butting heads, I don’t know if not having a positive outlook is going to help. But personally my first year so far has been great.
