START HERE! Welcome to Learn Speed Climbing
Welcome to Learn Speed Climbing! Happy to have you here. This is my passion project, aimed at growing the sport and making speed climbing education accessible to everyone, everywhere. Here's why I chose Skool (this platform) to run this mission: It's designed around community engagement and real interaction. We want you to post videos, see each other's feedback, and make actual connections. Albert and I love helping people with their speed climbing, but we physically can't answer every message and give each one a good answer — and for years there was no easy resource to point people to, so I'd end up typing out documents' worth of information just to explain a single move. Now that resource exists, the answers live in one place, and the feedback happens where everyone can learn from it. And here's what makes it work: speed climbing is the same route everywhere on Earth. The beta that works in Jakarta works in Dallas, Milan, and Seoul — so one community really can serve the whole world's speed climbers. I truly believe speed is the best community in all of sports, and you're about to see why. Whether you're an athlete chasing a new PB, a parent whose kid just fell in love with the fastest discipline in climbing, a coach building a speed program, or someone who watched one 5-second run and needs to know how it's done — you're in the right place. Do these two things first 1. Introduce yourself! drop a post right now with: - Your name, and where in the world you're climbing (or parenting, or coaching) from - Your experience level — total beginner to seasoned racer, every answer is welcome here - Your wall situation — full 15m, a section, or nothing nearby yet (we have training guides for exactly that) - Videos of your climbing! Skool makes it easy to watch and give feedback — posting a run is the fastest way to get eyes on your technique That post is how the community finds you. The person with your wall, your region, or your kid's age category is probably already in here — and top athletes from around the world are members, right alongside their parents and coaches.
