First thing I would do is slow down and not touch it for a few days so decisions are not emotional. Then I would split it into clear buckets like Emergency and security fund so basic living is covered long term, Low risk investments for stability and compounding, Skill and business building so it can generate more income, Debt cleanup if any exists, A giving and impact portion to help causes and people I care about, A lifestyle portion for quality of life, not impulse spending. The goal would be to turn the one million into a system that keeps producing value, not just spending it once.
