Hi, my name is Sami. Currently working with OCDSB as an ESL Instructor teaching CLBs 6/7/8. Have been with the board since 2021. In addition, have worked with Algonquin from time to time teaching communication courses in the school of Health Sciences. Other than that have worked with NorQuest, NAIT and Macewan as ESL/LINC Instructor. For a year from 2019-2020, worked in the dual role of LINC Coordinator/Instructor at a community college in NWT. As far as teaching goes, I truly enjoy interacting with my learners through creating engaging classrooms and lessons that address their real life linguistic and life goals.Looking forward to interacting with the members here and positively anticipating that together we would be creating a space where we all would be able to further our professional goals and facilitate our learners.My educational credentials are MA Applied Linguistics from Carleton University, CELTA from Cambridge and TESL from Algonquin and Carleton. Living in Rockland ON. My hobbies are reading, writing and watching movies.
