Hey everyone! Iβm currently an eighth grader and its been my dream since I was a kid to go to Harvard, Princeton, Yale, or Stanford. I want to know if whatever Iβm doing right now is helping me in any way and if my plans for the near future are going to help me achieve my dream. Currently, I am a second degree black belt, a highly skilled swimmer, and a very experienced artist. I love being a black belt because I love teaching lower belts/younger kids the skills they need in sparring or in forms. I have been doing swimming for almost eight years now, and swimming is really fun and I think I have a really good chance of getting into varsity. And art has always been a way to express my thoughts and feelings. For example, when I was five, I would draw and color simple drawings with messages intertwined with them. Like, a girl giving a gift to a bunny and the bunnyβs face being really happy. My message would be that kindness is worth the time and energy.Β I am also in NJHS and I do pretty consistent volunteering. As of right now, in grades I am pretty decent. I have always had a 97 or above in middle school. But I know for a fact that Iβll have a hundred in all my classes in high school. Iβm not focusing on grades too much because Iβm still in all sorts of extra curricular activities and I donβt want to stress myself out too much when Iβm in middle school. My plan for the future is to take as many AP courses as possible in high school. My goal is to become Valedictorian of my class. Iβm also trying to publish a research paper/article/book, get into Math Olympiad, Become president of NJHS/NHS, and start a club. Thank you!!!
