Wohoo!!! Today is the Day
Woohoo! Today is the day! 🎉 Tonight we kick off our 5-Day Pain Free Living Experience, and I am so excited to get started with you! 🕖 7:00 PM Eastern 🕕6:00 PM Central 🕔5:00 PM Mountain 🕓4:00 PM Pacific I can't tell you how important it is to show up live if you can. Yes, there will be replays if life gets in the way, but being there live is where the real magic happens. You'll be able to ask questions, get coaching, and connect the dots in a way that's hard to recreate later. Take a minute today and pop this Zoom link into your calendar for the next 5 evenings. The link is the same every night, so once it's on your calendar, you're all set https://us02web.zoom.us/j/6843254787 I truly believe these next five days can change the way you think about pain and what's possible for your body. I can't wait to meet you, hear your story, and take this first step together. See you tonight! – Samantha

Wohoo!!! Today is the Day
Happy Monday, everyone!
I have to tell you about my adventure with my first pair of prescription glasses. 😂 I picked them up convinced I was going to put them on and suddenly see perfectly. Instead, I couldn't see worth a damn. I felt like Alice in Wonderland. Everything looked stretched out, I was stumbling over my own feet, and I made it about five minutes into pickleball before I took them off because they were driving me crazy. Then I realized I was expecting my brain to instantly adapt to something completely new. So I wore them while I painted. The next day I wore them a little longer. Then I wore them back to pickleball. Little by little, my brain figured it out. Now they're starting to feel normal, and I honestly think I'm playing better because I can actually see what's happening. It made me laugh because this is exactly what we do with healing. We try foam rolling, mobility work, or a new exercise once. It feels different. Maybe we're a little sore the next day. Instead of thinking, "My body is learning something new," we think, "Well...that didn't work." But your body doesn't change because you did something once. It changes because you gave it enough time to adapt. That's why I always encourage you to stay curious instead of being judgmental. Give your body permission to learn. Do a little. See how it responds. Come back tomorrow. Trust the process. So this week, I'd love to know... What is one thing you're committed to being consistent with instead of expecting to master overnight? Let's cheer each other on. ❤️

Happy Monday, everyone!
New Video!
I just uploaded a new video to YouTube that teaches you WHY stretching sometimes can make your symptoms of sciatica worse! https://youtu.be/RAv5YmOWJeY?si=K6KFUQHQLkRdbYh9 Let me know if this is something you struggle with in the comments

So apparently this is what happens as we get closer to 50.
I had an eye appointment this week and got my first prescription for glasses here at 47 years old. I've been using readers for about a year, but I could tell my eyes were working way too hard. More strain, more fatigue, more squinting at things than I'd like to admit. . When the optometrist put the lenses in a frame and handed them to me, I was honestly shocked.I could see. Like REALLY see. . I remember looking around thinking, "Well that's interesting..." because I had no idea how much my vision had changed. It happened so slowly that I never really noticed it. I just adapted. I held things farther away. I blamed being tired. I accepted the eye strain as part of life. . Sound familiar? . Because this is exactly what happens with pain. It starts with a little ache, a little stiffness, a little discomfort that you can still work around. So you do. You keep going. You stay busy. You tell yourself you'll deal with it later because right now isn't a good time. . Then life keeps life-ing. . A year goes by. Five years go by. Ten years go by. And one day you realize you've stopped doing things you love, you're moving differently, you're planning your life around what hurts, and you've accepted things as normal that were never normal in the first place. . That's the sneaky part. The change happens so gradually that most people don't realize how much they've lost until they start getting it back. . I see this all the time with the people I work with. They aren't avoiding dealing with their pain because they don't care. They've simply adapted to it for so long that they forgot what feeling good even felt like. . So here's my Freedom Friday question... What's one thing you've been waiting to get better that has actually gotten worse? . Let's hear it

I help women who are tired of normalizing pain as part of aging understand why they hurt, move better, and get back to doing the things they love.
