Any info on how accurate this info might be?
Just came across something on Facebook and it seems a little sketchy, wanted to see what you guys think? Was trying to paste a link directly to Facebook post but, it didn't work. Here is a copy and paste version: Jax Concrete Coatings has a large one-off project coming up in Vero Beach, Florida, and we’re looking for experienced installers to assist on a short-term basis. Full Flake System, MVB, Base, Flake, Polyaspartic Topcoat, Urethane over it all, 50% of it to be double broadcast. This is not a permanent hire. Project details: • Coating installation only (no surface prep required), if you touch a grinder it will be to touch up a tiny spot!!! • Travel and lodging included for those who live >1hr from Vero Beach • $1,200–$1,600 per week • Timeline: February, March, and part of April • 19 total installer slots available • Temporary project support only If interested, send resume/info/portfolio to michael@jaxconcretecoatings.com

Hi Alvis, it looks legit to me. It looks like someone owns a Penntek deanship in Florida and are essentially subbing work out. They might have good profit margins since they might be getting the materials at a lower cost than you or I can. That's my guess.
Uneven clearcoat
Hi all, We just finished putting down a coat of polyaspartic on a flaked floor and it has an uneven appearance. The customer picked torginols “white cap” hybrid which has mica in it as well. The flake almost looked uneven or like the white was pooling in one area while the blue was pooling in another, almost like clouds in the floor. So we scrapped and reflaked the whole floor… same thing The slab is about 4 months old and has a vapor barrier in place. The highest reading we got on our tramex was 1.5% The day of install the garage temp was between 47-50 degrees and the material was kept warm up until install Our system was Regular cure polyaspartic with full flake broadcast Scrapped both ways *reflaked floor due to odd appearance Scrapped both ways, acetone wiped Grout coat of regular polyaspartic Swing machine whole floor to flatten- acetone wiped Final coat of polyaspartic with flat squeegee, each section was backrolled both directions with no puddles I want to resolve this but am not sure what the best method is? I was thinking a HWU in a matte might help even out the appearance

@Jeremy Redig thank you Jeremy. I will check that out. I’ve heard good things about their products.
Resutile aqua & resuflor mpe
Does anyone have experience using Sherwin Williams regular multi purpose epoxy with flake. Broadcast with resutile aqua as a topcoat? My local rep is trying to convert me to using SW products for my flaked floors Any suggestions or feedback would be really helpful

@Joseph Austin we did one recently but not have accessibility for our equipment for sanding/solvent wiping, so we went with fusion primer. It’s not cheap but it worked and it saved us a fair amount of time. I don’t know if it would work in certain areas because the smell, it will get ya.
Flakable MVB
Hey guys, I’ve noticed a few MVB’s that can be flaked into. They don’t hold out 20-25 lbs. like a true MVB but they do hold out 9-10 lbs. I guess my question is, assuming the moisture tests are under 3 lbs. would you use this product? I’m interested in learning to use new products, I’m just not a fan of shortcuts and this may be one I should avoid? Any thoughts?

The one I saw is manufactured by -ResinForce labeled as “Flakeshield MVB” in case anyone is interested.
