Resutile aqua & resuflor mpe
Does anyone have experience using Sherwin Williams regular multi purpose epoxy with flake. Broadcast with resutile aqua as a topcoat? My local rep is trying to convert me to using SW products for my flaked floors Any suggestions or feedback would be really helpful

@Joseph Austin we did one recently but not have accessibility for our equipment for sanding/solvent wiping, so we went with fusion primer. It’s not cheap but it worked and it saved us a fair amount of time. I don’t know if it would work in certain areas because the smell, it will get ya.
Flakable MVB
Hey guys, I’ve noticed a few MVB’s that can be flaked into. They don’t hold out 20-25 lbs. like a true MVB but they do hold out 9-10 lbs. I guess my question is, assuming the moisture tests are under 3 lbs. would you use this product? I’m interested in learning to use new products, I’m just not a fan of shortcuts and this may be one I should avoid? Any thoughts?

The one I saw is manufactured by -ResinForce labeled as “Flakeshield MVB” in case anyone is interested.

@Joseph Austin great insight here. Well said Joseph.
Rotary grinder
Hey guys, Just did a demo with a diamapro DXP 26. It weighs about 1100 lbs but man does it chew thru coatings! We are buying a used unit after seeing this thing in action. You can see what it removes in this video. This was about 1 min of running 30/40 two segment, hard tooling.

@Alvis Ciritis I do think I will want a decent exhaust fan in smaller spaces. I plan on running it on most jobs just because of the efficiency

That’s very cool. I’ve never used one but I’ve read and heard good things about them. Let me know if you get one, I’d love to hear your feedback

My thought process is Prime wood with acrylic primer Reinforce seams with mesh Roll first coat of resist epoxy Sand, wipe roll second coat and broadcast Two coats of urethane Any advice or ways to improve my process?
