For DP, it's same data points as the Amex BCE & approval were same day, hours apart. Credit file is 3 months old Surprisingly, no additional documentation has been requested yet and it's been 12hrs since approval. I was kind of hoping for $2500 starting limit Welcome offer is 0% APR for 15 months & miles match in the first 12 months of card use i.e miles accumulated in the first year would be 2x by Discover and it's unlimited P.S. C1 Platinum ($500 starting limit) was my first card & was closed by C1 same week of approval. C1 won't let me create a new account so it linked this new card to the first account to manage under one roof. Fingers crossed with this (as it's managed by C1) & if it gets closed too.. we move on lol

I just had a strange conversation with US Bank regarding an application for the US Bank Amazon Business Card. I was transferred to identity verification because they said my SSN was invalid. The person I then spoke to said I need to reach out to social security because theres a flag on my SSN. I tried explaining its an ITIN and they wouldn't listen. I also tried explaining it could be their system not playing nice with some newly issued ITINS and they also refused to listen. Has anyone heard of something like this? I have a US Bank business checking that I keep a decent balance in under my ITIN with no issues.

I just got rejected for personal account with residential address due to EWS

I have about 10 months of U.S. credit history, but both Credit Karma and Apple Card are asking me to complete ID verification with a U.S. ID instead of verifying me automatically. Could this be happening because I’m using a Canadian phone number on my accounts? Since Canadian numbers also use the +1 country code, I thought they were usually treated the same as U.S. numbers for verification purposes. Has anyone else experienced extra identity verification because of using a Canadian number, even with some established credit history?

After some back and forth, I finally got approved for the Apple Card with my ITIN. Instant approval for $3000, and they didn’t ask me for ID verification or any extra documents. For data points, I used Tello roaming data, set my device region to United State , and matched the time zone as well as @Ain - Cloud Resident recommended. My credit history is already over 7 years old, so maybe that helped too. Just sharing in case anyone else was dealing with the same Apple Card ITIN issue.
