The reverse lead magnet that won't convert (and what to send instead)
Reviewed a member's reverse lead magnet on the Insiders call last week. Someone replies yes to the cold email and gets a personalized doc. Scored their business. Listed what to fix on their landing page. Webinar titles, email angles, content hooks. Good work went into it. It was also a giant info dump with a button at the bottom. I told them I didn't think it would convert. Reading a long report is work. And anyone open-minded enough to buy AI services from you can open a coding agent and get that feedback on their own business. Don't tell them what to fix. Fix it. Rewrite their copy and show them the rewrite. Rebuild one page. Make them ad creative. It doesn't even have to be free. Charge enough to cover the hosting or the API credits. You want them saying "I want more." What are you sending people when they reply yes? Drop it below and I'll tell you if it's an info dump.

@Jay Feldman this is what I send as my lead magnet. It’s completely personalised to them - https://app.landapod.com/blueprint/b/d070cf03-4227-4408-a6e4-d6eb9ce7d09d Sent about 35 of these now. Only booked one call. Where am I going wrong?

@Jordan Wiseman Yeah, I think that's fair feedback. I agree that at the moment it probably leans too much towards being a personalised pitch rather than something they can take away and use themselves. Where I'd slightly disagree is that there is quite a lot of the actual strategy inside it. For each prospect I've mapped out why I'd target them, the conversation angle, the commercial opportunity and even the exact invitation we'd send. But I think I've probably buried the most valuable part too deep in the plan, so people aren't necessarily seeing it. The initial hook seems to be working because around 35 people have actively asked me to send them one. It's the conversion from receiving the plan to taking the next step that's clearly weak. If you were me, what would you change? How would you make it valuable enough that someone gets a genuine win from it without buying, while still naturally leading them towards wanting me to execute the strategy for them? Would really appreciate your take because I think I'm close, but something in the handoff/value is obviously missing.
Your AI gets dumber the longer you talk to it
Quick tip: Claude Code can hold a million tokens of context. I almost never let it get close. I keep my sessions under 30 percent. I will tolerate 40. Very rarely 50. After that I compact or clear and start fresh. Here is why. The bigger the context gets, the more tokens every single command burns, and the worse the output gets. At 29 percent, every command drags that whole 29 percent along with it. You pay for all of it, every time. That is slower and dumber on every step. So a bloated session costs you twice: more money and worse work. When a session starts to fill, I do not push through it. I compact, keep the important stuff, and keep moving. Lean sessions think better.

What's your biggest bottleneck right now?
Drop it below. Curious what everyone's actually dealing with.
