Hey everyone! I have a small idea that could help all of us.
Think about it. Everyone is launching an agency, freelancers are looking for new clients, and SaaS founders are trying to figure out how to grow their products. A lot of people have already built something valuable, but they get stuck when it comes to distribution and marketing. They need a starting point. A way to get their product in front of the right people, find customers, and actually grow. And here's the problem. Most AI tools keep giving us the same advice. Claude, GPT, and other models often suggest things that thousands of people in the same niche have already heard. If a million people get similar marketing advice, how likely is it that the same advice will actually help YOU stand out? Think about that for a second. We've started realizing this ourselves. Even Claude can lead you in circles sometimes, giving you generic recommendations instead of figuring out what would actually work for your specific situation. But what if there was an AI model that approached your business like a real marketer? One that deeply analyzed your project, understood your audience and your offer, researched potential growth opportunities, and suggested specific actions you could actually take. Not generic tips. Not another list of obvious ideas. Real strategies to help you grow your agency, get your SaaS off the ground, promote your product, or find the first customers for something you've built to solve a real problem. That's exactly what we've been thinking about. We want to build a model that can analyze a business from different angles and find practical ways to help it grow. And we already have a working prototype. So I'm curious about your opinion. Would you be interested in using something like this? Would you want an AI that tells you what you can actually do right now to get more visibility, attract customers, and grow your project? I'd love to hear your thoughts. What would you want a model like this to help you with the most?

@Jorge Visaga this is a really good way to frame it. remembering what was already tried, including the failures, and revising the next step from real results is exactly the kind of follow-through that makes advice specific. we're still early, so i'm taking this as a requirement for what we build

@Alexandre Seki thanks, agreed. claude and gpt are great for polishing an idea, and making it as valuable as possible is the main thing we're focused on
3 ideas for freelancers and agencies, which one would you actually use?
1️⃣ you pick a business you'd like to work with and paste a link to their website. an ai agent reads the public info and builds a working demo agent for that business. it also lists the questions a visitor would have that the site doesn't answer. you get a link to a page with the demo chat, that list and a button to contact you, and you send it to the business owner. it doesn't find clients for you, but instead of "hi, i do automation" you send something they can try on their own business in a minute 2️⃣ this one goes the other way. a free public checker where a business owner pastes their own website and sees how many typical customer questions it answers, plus a demo agent for their business. if they want it fixed, they leave a request and it goes to a freelancer or agency on the platform 3️⃣ this one is about starting a project faster. today onboarding starts with you describing the business. instead you'd paste a link to the website, and the agent looks at what's there, shows where visitors are left without an answer and proposes a concrete plan of what to set up for that business. it would explain why and ask before doing anything none of these are built yet, we're checking which ones are worth building which one would you actually use? and what would stop you from trusting it?

@Tariq Osmani thanks a lot for the comment! you're right, it's really important that the agent flags what it couldn't find. it's only a hypothesis for now, but i think the demo would stay with the creator, so with you, and then you're free to do with it whatever you want

@Zubair Aqeel thanks, accuracy is the part we'd have to get right. a review step before sending makes sense, and so does showing what it couldn't find on the site

hey, saw you're stuck between the api key thing and picking a model. before anything else, what's the newsletter actually supposed to do, just send updates on a schedule, or does it need to personalize content based on the subscriber
Whatsapp Agent Requirement
Hey Everyone, I have been approached to make a whatsapp support agent which 1. Handles inbound queries and gives information about current delivery status 2. Asks leads basic questions and then transfers them to a human I need help in the following:- 1. How to set it up 2. How to deploy 3. What should be the one time and monthly retainer cost Any guidance is truly appreciated @Nate Herk

what platform are you thinking of building this on, something specific already, or still deciding?

@Kislay Ranjan for the technical side, roughly how i'd break it down: setup wise, you're looking at two separate flows in the same agent: one that answers "where's my order" type questions by pulling from whatever system holds delivery status, and one that qualifies incoming leads with a few questions before handing off. the tricky part is usually the delivery status piece, since that needs a live connection to wherever that data lives, not just a static faq. for deploy, i'd test on a sandbox whatsapp number first before pointing it at the real business number, and keep a human watching the first batch of real conversations closely rather than going full auto on day one. on pricing, the honest answer is it depends heavily on how messy that delivery status integration is. a clean api is one price, scraping some internal system or google sheet is a different, usually cheaper, ballpark. the monthly retainer side usually covers hosting, message volume and ongoing tweaks. if you're up for it, happy to move to dms and see if i can actually help you
How Do You Land Your First AI Client Without a Portfolio?
Many beginners spend months learning tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Make, Zapier, or n8n—but still struggle to get their first client. I’m curious: What is the most effective way to land your first AI automation client when you have no testimonials, no case studies, and limited experience? Would you recommend: - Building a free demo for a specific niche. - Offering a small project to someone in your network. - Sending personalized LinkedIn messages. - Applying for jobs on Upwork. - Joining niche communities and answering questions. - Contacting local businesses directly. For those who already landed their first client: 1. What service did you offer? 2. Where did you find the client? 3. How long did it take? 4. What would you do differently today? I’d love to hear real experiences rather than generic advice.

My first client found me in the most unexpected way. I was taking an online course, and we got split into groups. There was a girl in my group I chatted with a little, she knew I had some IT background, but that was about it. A month later she messaged me out of nowhere and asked if I could build her a bot. I'd never done that before. Three days later I sent her a working solution, made my first money from automation, and she kept coming back to work with me after that. She also told other people about me, and that's how I landed my first clients with zero portfolio and zero case studies. The main takeaway for me: keep building real connections with people, even ones that seem unrelated to what you do. Sooner or later someone needs exactly what you offer. Hope that's useful.

@Muzamil Fatima In a way, yeah. New clients would come in with pretty similar requests, so parts of that first bot carried over. But there were also some who needed something completely different built from scratch, and those obviously took a lot longer than 3 days.
