As the new year comes around, I'm doing a lot of reflecting on 2022 as a whole. Major money wins are earning the highest income I've EVER earned, investing in a Roth IRA, opening a HYSA, and continually investing in making myself & my business better. 2023 is going to be all about implementation and reaping the fruits of 2022's labor!

Hey everyone! Firstly, happy holidays! It's been so inspiring to read about what you all are doing, where you're going in business & in life, and I'm super fired up to CRUSH IT in 2023. As I go deeper in automating & making my services the most user friendly as possible, wondering if anyone has tips, tricks, or advice on hosting a membership? Context: I'm gearing up to launch an at-home, 12 month progressive overload strength & mobility program for busy women. I have the video demo library build (hosted on vimeo) and would love to see the full program hosted begin a personalized authentication page (log in page) where I can give access 4 weeks at a time (people can purchase monthly or the whole 12 months).
I graduate from PT school this Friday! Best birthday present ever!!(it was yesterday:) I am planning on taking some time off to just ski and soak it all in, but next I’ll be launching my online career as a Cash based PT. I will need location independence since I am going to be traveling to Ecuador and Spain to be with my girlfriend over the next two years as we get married in her country of Ecuador and then move to Spain where she will do a 1 year masters degree. I can’t wait for all that this time in my life will hold. It is a little nerve wracking because I will have to try and seek out opportunities to use my new skills online where I can’t use any manual therapy! 😝 I hope to expand upon my current online sphere of Tall Team Training (@tallteamtraining on IG) into the world of PT and basically operate that way as an online PT/Personal Trainer for people. I hope to eventually create some courses for jump sport athletes in high school. Volleyball and Basketball essentially. I just love my tall gangly folks(I’m 6’4”)! 😁🥰 Time and financial freedom is the ultimate goal so I can build my life with my future wife! Once we get married we can start the process of getting her a visa so we can move back Colorado, Steamboat Springs specifically, and lay down some roots! Anyways, so nice to be in this group and I hope maybe some of you have some words of wisdom for this new grad who’s about to jump two feet first into this new phase of life. Here’s to just doing my best to start building it right from the beginning! I am ready for the wins and lessons that will come along the way!
Hey everyone! I'd to hear about your business bottlenecks and if/how you overcame them. Currently, mine is the client lifecycle. I don't have a super standardized funnel for clients so to address that, I am working on my website and email strategy. My goal is to launch 3 new resources in the new year (a free resource, a paid membership, and a paid resource) and leverage those on my website to collect emails and follow up with an email campaign. It definitely feels like a huge task because there are so many moving parts!
@Jenny Resmondo Totally! Something I'm learning from GT is that you're just gonna suck at some things when you first start out. That shouldn't prevent you from DOING because that's how you LEARN! It's definitely got a mindset component and some unlearning as an "ex-perfectionist" lol

Happy Monday all! Let's talk investing... This year I discovered the magic of high yield savings accounts and compound interest. Instead of letting my savings sit in the bank basically doing nothing (earning 0.01% APY), I opened a HYSA account with American Express. The APY just increased to 3%!! No, I'm not missing a decimal point and no, it's not too good to be true! Now, I pool all the money that I save during the year: emergency fund, vacation fund, and dollars I set aside for federal taxes. I let this money work FOR me and earn that sweet, sweet compound interest. I'd love to hear about your finance tips!

I love that idea, GT. I get tripped up with engaging my audience in this way- I've had my business instagram for almost 2 years but only within the last 6 months have I started honing in on and speaking to my niche. The consequence of that is my following isn't exactly my "audience" and the response rate to polls is ultra low! I do have a few contacts outside of instagram that fit my client avatar though... I'll start there. Super helpful!
Hey Carmen! That's awesome. How did you follow these groups in your niche? Social media? Friends of friends? For the email collection system, I am working on building a webpage that will host the guide/workshop/free resource but in order to view that page, you must enter your name & email first. That way the process is mostly automated and people can get instant access! I have my website built out on Webflow. If it would be helpful, I can share what the process was like once I finish?

Everything is learnable, I am capable of figuring anything out - Make mistakes! Because mistakes -> mastery -> millions. You suck when you start and that's part of the process - Bring value (connecting, educating, entertaining) and the money will come. Ask yourself "how can I bring value right now/today/this week/etc?"
