Sabotage by not trying, or moving on to something else and not finishing what I’ve started. Joined for community, from experience everything I’ve done within a community (working out for example) has been much more fruitful versus going it alone. Lastly starting my own business is a creative medium/endeavour that I’ve yet to accomplish. Hopefully this will help somehow.
Monthly Theme & Challenge
Theme of the art project this month: Year of the Fire Horse The Year of the Fire Horse is a high-energy, volatile, and transformative period characterized by intense passion, rapid progress, and bold decision-making Notice: What comes up for you around the theme? Any particular initial reaction? Accountability: It’s up to you to decide how deep you want to explore the theme. Use the skool community page to post progress photos, check ins, updates, questions, and encouragement to stay accountable to your creative process. Monthly Challenge: I challenge you to try a medium of expression that you’ve never ever ever everrrrrr tried before. It can be a small part of your project or the whole thing. The universe is yours. Have you ever: Written a story or poetry? Drawn with pastels? Played with different kinds of paints? Sang a song for others? Crafted with nature like rocks? branches? leaves? Used food items like coffee stains or bright yellow turmeric? Maybe you’ve always wanted to try pastels but never got the courage to. Maybe you’ve always been a water colour painter but you want to try oils. Maybe it’s time to branch out to unique objects, textures, and things?

Tumeric would be lit 👀
Before our first call this Sunday, let’s see who's here! 👀
To kick things off, introduce yourself and share: • why you want to start making art again • one creative struggle you’re dealing with right now Okay, Next a little housekeeping from me before the first call this Sunday! 🎨 This community is for COMMUNITY. The whole point is to re-engage with your creative visions while being witnessed by other creatives. Don’t be shy about sharing your process, inside thoughts, struggles, weird experiments, and surprises along the way. I kept this club monthly on purpose so we actually have time to SLOWLY explore and dive into the theme, play with our mediums (EXPERIMENT!) and write about what’s coming up in your creative process in a group. New people might join, some people might drift out... all that’s normal! Let’s just use this space to actually talk to each other. For our first call this Sunday, I’ll be sharing: • a short creativity workshop • some guided journal prompts + exercises • the theme for the month • and our first monthly challenge Then next month we’ll have a chance to share what we made, talk about our processes, struggles, and anything we enjoyed about the experience. Honestly I’m stupidly excited about this and to see all your creativity at play 🩵🎨🌸
