@Brynn Whited Happy Sunday!
Free To Do Whatever - Galatians 5:13
Freedom sounds amazing… until we realize it comes with responsibility. In Galatians 5:13, we’re reminded: “You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.” That changes the definition of freedom. Because real freedom is not about doing whatever we want. It’s about becoming who God created us to be. It’s not selfish. It’s not reckless. It’s not driven by every impulse or emotion. True freedom is guided by love. It chooses kindness over convenience. It chooses self-control over impulse. It chooses purpose over temporary satisfaction. We are not free from responsibility… We are free to live differently. Free to love better. Free to serve others. Free to reflect God in how we live. So today, if you’re navigating choices, desires, or decisions… Ask yourself: “Is this freedom leading me closer to God… or further away?” Because the kind of freedom God gives always leads to life.

Plus, this week’s Song of the Week: Grace for Real Life by Brynn Elise is included at the end of the episode—written for the messy, overthinking, real-life moments we all experience. 🎶 You can also find the lyric video on YouTube at:Brynn Elise: Worship & Words 💬 Call to Action If this episode hit home, share it with a friend who overthinks like you do—and don’t forget to follow/subscribe so you never miss a new episode of Divine Shenanigans. https://www.buzzsprout.com/2524584/episodes/18986136

Loved this episode!
Walking AwayMatthew 25:7–10
Sometimes the hardest part of faith is not starting… It’s staying ready. In Matthew 25:7–10, the parable of the ten virgins shows a powerful truth: Some were prepared. Some were not. And when the moment came… the unprepared had to walk away to try and get what they were missing. But while they were gone, the door closed. That part is sobering. Because it reminds us that faith is not just about knowing what to do… It’s about being ready when it matters. Not distracted. Not putting it off. Not assuming there will always be more time. Walking with God is not something we fit in later. It’s something we live now. So today, this is not about fear… It’s about awareness. Stay connected. Stay prepared. Stay close to God. Because the life He’s calling you to is not something you want to miss.
