AMA with Coach Shane is super hard since we need to do assignment too 😅🫣
Hi Coach @Shane Peterson , this is my pronunciation practice video, I will practice more on my TH sound. Pardon me! I'm confused where to put the video in so I post it on this General Discussion, please let me know if it's possible or else I will relocate it. For my friends who are practicing with me in this video, there is a huge surprise for you fellas at the end of the video, please stay tuned and stick with me till the end.

@Kelly Trinh Of course, I understand how you feel! Our Asian accents may never completely go away, but we can speak more clearly. I started learning conversational English six years ago and wanted to get an American accent. However, I later changed my goal. Now my goal is to speak clear English so that everyone can understand what I’m saying. Keep it up, and let’s master English together😉👍
Mount Fuji from a bridge
I was on my way to my wife’s grandmother’s house to celebrate her 95th birthday. You can see Mount Fuji from a bridge called Fujimi Bridge. The name literally means “you can see Mount Fuji.” I shot the video quickly, so the sound isn’t very clear. Sorry about that!

@Shane Peterson Just once. The summer of 2006, I climbed to the top with my friends. Our plan was delayed because one of my friends was late, so we got to the fifth station(2400m point) by car at 6 p.m. You're supposed to let your body get used to the high altitude for at least one hour. However, because we wanted to watch the sunrise at the summit, we didn’t take any rest and headed straight to the top(I was young and foolish!) It was really horrible. Even though it was the middle of summer, the summit was very cold, and we had serious headaches because we changed altitude too quickly. By the break of dawn, we managed to reach the top, and we were able to see a beautiful sunrise. It's a very memorable experience.

Tongue Twister - Thursday
Hello, you beautiful people! Are you ready for Tongue-Twister Thursday ? Today’s victim: W, R and L sounds Not easy. Not fair. But very entertaining. Let's do it: “The worst word in the world is the word WORLD" Remember: - This is NOT a speed test. Pace yourself and try do say it accurately. - Slow it down, breathe, and try not to summon a new language halfway through. Lol Your mission: Record yourself and drop it in the comments Good luck, soldiers. May your consonants survive Here's my attempt:

Hey everyone! I’ve mentioned this in Live Classes quite a few times, but it’s worth repeating: TURN ON YOUR CAMERA AND MAKE VIDEOS WHILE PRACTICING ENGLISH! Recording yourself or keeping your camera on during pronunciation practice or live classes is super helpful: - ✅ Coaches can spot mistakes faster – They can see how you move your mouth and hear you clearly, making corrections easier. - ✅ You notice your own mistakes – Watching yourself speak helps you catch things you might miss while talking. - ✅ Faster improvement – More feedback = quicker progress! So next time you practice, don’t be shy—turn on that camera and hit record! 🎯
