Initial Recording: There Will Never Be Another You
I decided to get an initial take after the live session with this tune before I went to bed.

Super! Love the way you treat this melody especially and the way you build motives in your solo

That's what's up! Nice pacing and definitely a nice kind of showy solo for sure
Great to meet you all!
I'm Tom Cook. Long time trombone player, but only now in my 68th year do I have some flexibility in my schedule to work on it. Excited to learn new things and be part of this group.

Introduction
Hi everyone, My name is Anthony Mora, and I am a freelance trumpet player and pianist from Los Angeles. I'm excited to be a part of this community, and I look forward to getting to know and learn from you all. I come from a classically trained background, but jazz is what ultimately got me started to pursue a music career. My goal is to improve my improvisational skills so that I can confidently say "yes" to every opportunity that comes my way. Here's a transcription of Red Rodney's solo from "Blues for Alice" that I've been working on.

Reflections for Module #7 - The PRACTICE
Hey Cats, Here's the DOC from today's video. Recorded video can be found in the classroom tab. Homework is to post a clip of you practicing a tune with a limitation, and obviously tell us what that limitation is! This shouldn’t take more than 15 minutes. I'm going crazy and telling you to have this done by tomorrow night! 2/22 @ midnight (assuming you see this by then, otherwise ASAP!) Bb Blues Autumn Leaves Let's make some progresssss!!! Alex

@Alex Mazur You're giving me ideas...absolutely thinking about how you can learn so much by say trading 2s (or 1s) with yourself

@Brayden Owens This makes total sense! I hear all of that in your playing for sure, but it's always your own voice. Lately I've probably been most into Curtis Fuller as far as trombone players (and I guess always JJ), but I honestly spend a lot of my time listening to vocalists
