The NEW Way to Make "Screen Share" YouTube Videos
One of the best ways to make YouTube videos right now is the "screen share" style video. Literally everyone here can make these because you don't need an expensive camera or editing skills. @Janie Chouinard The reason I chose the link format here is because I used Cap to record the OBS recording so you could see inside the platform. Vs the YouTube video I also shared a link but Skool probably has a better native embed feature for it which makes it look like it's hosted inside Skool.

Quick thoughts: I'm reviewing my YouTube content strategy for 2026. Looking at my top 5 videos, one thing remains true: The PACKAGING is why they work. For example, below is the thumbnail for my video: I’ve Written 300+ YouTube Videos — Here's the Perfect Script Let's break it down using the PPP Formula. PPP stands for Proof, Promise, Plan. People want PROOF you can help them. People want a PROMISE that if they click the video, they'll get something out of it. People want a PLAN they can follow to get the PROMISE. So if you want people to click on your video, you need to hit ALL three factors. Let's break down my title: "I’ve Written 300+ YouTube Videos — Here's the Perfect Script" - PROOF: I've Written 300+ YouTube Videos ("I've" and "300+" imply evidence) - PROMISE: Here's the Perfect Script ("Here's" implies they'll get something) - PLAN: The thumbnail visualizes the path to writing the perfect script This takes some creativity. You can't fit detailed reasons to click in 55 characters. You need to use the title and thumbnail together to IMPLY the viewer will get one desired outcome. Now what? Look at the channels you're subscribed to. See if you can find the proof, promise, and plan in their packaging.

Take Leila Hormozi's best video: Give Me 15 Minutes and I'll Make You Dangerously Confident Proof: Already implied because she's well known and successful Promise: Give me 15 minutes and I'll make you....the whole title is the promise Plan: "React to nothing" in the thumbnail hints at the plan to be confident While I used a number in my title to provide some proof, Leila can skip the proof for this title because she has pre-built credibility.
