Vibe Coding Discord Bots, HELP!
Hey guys, this is my first post in here, nice to meet all of you guys! I currently own a community on discord and to enhance the community I make pretty sophisticated discord bots, or at least attempt to lol. I have taken a few lessons on python and I when the AI IDE writes the code I can look at it and know the purpose but by no means can I write functional code. I currently use Cursor and sometime PyCharm with JetBrains IDE Junie. (I mainly use cursor). What I see happening a lot when I go to make a new application for my community is more and more errors the more I code. Now I’ve done by research and I know that 80% is done in the planning and you have to open new chat windows when they get to long, add rules, add a roadmap/task text file to update the bot between chats and all that stuff. But I’m still having trouble when making sophisticated bots and I was wondering if anyone had a good workflow for discord bots. There isn’t a lot of good information on it out there and it’s all pretty much for coding mobile apps which is not what I’m trying to do at all. Since I’m trying to do something completely different I feel as though that calls for a different workflow. Right? What are your guys thoughts? Thank you!
