Christmas in July. For the grand daughters. I need to make 3 more girls and 1 more boy. Made on 22 pin. Added the premie hat. About 6 inches. The bow scarf was an after thought.

When I previously posted that the bucket hat with loop scarf was finished, I was wrong. After giving it some thought, I said if I’m sending it to Buffalo, I need some gloves or mittens to go with it. I decided on fingerless gloves using the VIP pattern. After a few attempts, I finally finished. However, since I was using the variegated yarn, I don’t like the way the colors came out. I want to make a few more, hopefully not too many, until the colors match. So am I really finished? 🥴

Loop scarf from VIP patterns was previously posted along with the bucket hat. Yesterday, I finished the fingerless gloves also using a VIP pattern.

During today’s Crafting Hour, we talked about a lot of ways to make sales at craft fairs. One thing mentioned was to visit other craft fairs and see what seems to sell best. Also, when attending as a vendor, make eye contact with customers and a bit of small talk to draw them in. Having “sample” models of your things so they can try them on. If they buy one item, let them know if you have matching accessories. They might buy more!
